So many of the comments on Macklemore's videos are people saying, to some extent, "I'm not really into rap, but this is somehow different." That's because they're right. This guy isn't just a rapper, he's a storyteller. He makes you feel something you didn't think you would. There are rappers, fine. Some of them are philosophers, and if you care about developing your mind... well, this guy has something real to say.

wow...see this is why i love macklemore. he mixes rap with deep lyrics. his music is inspirational and modern. he tells a story, a REAL one. and on top of all that, he loves what he's doing. no other black, or emeinem could beat this. this is real rap.

This is a real human, he feels what he sings and he sings it with completely love and truth. And the most amazing thing is that when you hear another singer in the CD's song version and then you hear it in live you say-"WTF?; does he/she sings that bad?-
But with MACKLEMORE that's different, he have his true voice even when there's no "computer-magic" that some singers add to their music...Macklemore is the greatest person I can never see/hear.He is full of true love

Macklemore hits home on this track, My friend in College had three guys take his Shoes(Jordans), Jersey, and Hat, and he had to walk home just like the kid in the video. I think of him everytime I hear this song. I totally agree with Macklemore and material things ...........Keep it real .......!

Knowing of an artist before others doesn't make you a bigger fan; the level at which you relate with and appreciate an artist is what's important. I'm not saying you don't, but, I'm just putting that out there because everybody's always fighting about who heard who first.

I like when Ryan Lewis talks! Because even if Macklemore is incredible, they should have the same mediatization, cause "Wings" or "Otherside" for example, won't definetly be the same without Ryan's music. These two men are, I think the best duo I've ever seen for the moment ! And they are both excellent in their domains ! But the awesomeness of this duo is because of the truth and the sensibility of the lyrics and the performance of Macklemore and the intelligence of Ryan Lewis's sounds. :)
