He had employees, how did this stay quiet for so long? I get hate for using paper but all my paper is clean! I appreciate you guys putting yourselves out there for the hobby. People neeed to be called out and corrected.

Probably people that needed the paycheck. Most (all?) of the photos were taken by employees so it's not like they were heartless.
I do not remember knowing of Sampson until a few days ago and the more that I learn about what he has done and the more I learn about the people that willingly work with Sampson despite what all he has done is really disheartening. This whole situation is giving me a lot to think about. Thank you so much for doing this live.

I contacted a breeder on morphmarket, and asked him where his facility was, he got seriously defensive and told me it was not open to the public. Should I see that as a red flag?

As a person that did a rescue so much neglected stuff just because someone can put a snake in a cage doesn’t mean they should
Animals health over wealth
I clean every time I see something abnormal in my cages. How can someone treat living animals the way he did. I love every reptile I get create and see in peoples collection. I hate seeing these animals in terrible conditions. It’s not that hard to put some effort in it if you’re gonna lock something up in a cage, treat them right!

And one can seriously smell the smallest of poop. My snakes will poop and avoid the area which shows me exactly where it is really quickly.
Darien as always so glad you took over. And thank you for truly striving to make a change in the reptile community. That's what we are trying to accomplish also with what we are doing. Slowly and on a much smaller scale. But this guy is disgusting and thanks for getting rid of him.
Watching and listening to this will cleaning and feeding all my pets which is a daily thing that I put multiple hours into because I love them. And I’ve been keeping and breeding for over 30 years now and couldn’t imagine doing anything else. I look forward to working with my critters every day and even dream about them. They are my life. I can’t even imagine treating my animals like dollar bills. I usually give my babies away and I have sold some to cover shipping and never charged anywhere near full price. Never started for money in mind just for the passion for these animals. You should never get into this just to make money they are all giving us a bad name. You gotta be in it for the passion for the species but all those money hungry people will weed themselves out and probably go bankrupt. Hopefully they don’t hurt the hobby on the way out. I also can agree with you on how average people have no idea what some of our reptile rooms look like. Every person that I’ve shown my rooms to that was afraid of spiders or snakes was absolutely amazed by my animals and how their enclosures are set up with real plants and waterfalls. So I try and convert whoever I can to loving these animals and opening their eyes to how awesome these critters are.

I couldn't get through the video. I got upset to the point of looking everywhere. I was trying to find at least his address and make a call to the local police where he was and the Humane Society. Is Reach out Reptiles associated with this monster, or just Garrett Hartle?

I am working on trying to change the way people look at the community, but i dont have enough people support or watching my videos. I been starting to do trauma and empathy videos with psychologist. Because their is so little difference between normal people and reptiles people
I for one am not afraid to give a review. Good, bad, or ugly. Been into breeding, and keeping reptiles since the 80's. There have been a lot of changes in husbandry/ keeping since back then, and you just have to be willing to try it and change. One thing is, that I personally look at every reptile I own daily. I had a large female water dragon, and she kept laying eggs even without a male.

More then likely it was a defensive bite when being paired up with another adult retic.

There was one picture of an adult retic that literally had a big hole right below the head looked like a gun shot wound, clearly it wasn’t that but I was like what could cause that? Just disgusting what he did man so wrong. Glad you guys covered it.
