My older brother bought Killer & Love it to death when they first came out and played them very day, so at 9 years old I became a fan for life and these two classic albums still remain two of my all time favorite albums!
Love all Alice Cooper band's work since early 70s. My brother and I were both influenced by the Alice Cooper band. My brother Keith Menser ( R.I.P. 8/6/2023 ) was a bass player and I only heard this recording after he had passed. Rest In Peace Brother ua-cam.com/video/TjBWkszLF04/v-deo.html
Nothing in this video is from 1973. The song “Halo of Flies” is off of the 1971 Killer album. Alice shots are from 1972 when the band went to France. Alice wearing red tights is 1975. With all that said I really do love this footage and this is my all time favourite AC song. Thanks for posting.
the Hitparade show probably wanted some footage to go with the song, as it was a No. 5 hit in Holland in 1973. Halo was released as a single after the Billion Dollar Babies record proved to be a huge succes
I agree with you. Thanks for the info. The footage is great. We never had “Halo of Flies” released as a single in Canada. Thank God I had the original album, to hear this fabulous song. It is my favourite song of AC’s musicality wise. It is outstanding IMO
@@frankiefelinesalwayswelcom5825you know your Alice history Frankie...!...I love reading your comments...I also noticed his solo WTMN footage mixed in here with the original band footage...glad someone else noticed...If anyone would know that...I had a feeling it'd be you...😀👍🏻
@@philipholmes5884Anything YOUNG ALICE, I love. To me he was so cute at that age 20 to 29. I had Hit Parader and other mag pictures of him all over my bedroom wall. I was 14 then in 1972, still 29 now. LOL. Interesting info: My Mom’s first name was Alice, she hated it….But Alice doesn’t live there anymore…….just in my iPad…..
@@philipholmes5884Hi Phil. Would you like to be a chat partner with me here in YT? We can talk “Alice” or any topic you like. I had two other chat partners bf, they both quit for some reason. One was in the US, the other from Cape Town, S. Africa. I am from Edmonton AB Canada. Chatting here is neat. Would love to chat with you. This song has more angles lasts longer than anything else up to its time. This crazy old song is a timepiece of rock history in my book. I've always liked the idea of the crazier the better if it's git good tunes! Black bloody sabbath and Alice Coopers music is not for the faintest of hearts.
This is my favorite Alice Cooper album killer a total masterpiece❤🎵🔥🎸
