yes change coil to 12 volts, no need to change the points and condenser, these will work fine on 12 volts

Two things that I installed that wasn’t in this video specifically is, 12 volt coil, and 12 volt headlight, I also installed LED taillights, sorry for not putting that info in this video, check out vintage auto garages installation booklet, it shows you what the 12 volt versions are of your 6 volt bulbs 👍🏼
I had to boost my truck one last time before making the switch to twelve volt (to get it home). Prior to removing the battery, I noticed my horn no longer worked. I am guessing that that is because a horn is wired 'hot' and as soon as power was introduced, the 6 volt horn got 12 volts. So my question is, is my horn irreparably damaged ? I bought a new horn relay for the 6 to 12 volt swap along with all the other stuff you recommended. I even got the small $79 unit you did a separate 3 minute video on. It cost a LOT more when shipped to Canada. SO is my vintage horn 'toast' ?

Hello, i just inherited my father's 1952 f3. he bought of a someone who has totally butchered the wiring. The nearest I can tell it has ben converted to 12v electronic ignition. My question is that year come with 12 volt or 6 volt originally. Thanks Victor

Hi Zac I’m trying to figure out where I should pick up power for the electronic fuel pump and for the relay from 12 V to 6 V. I was thinking of picking it up from the power that goes to the coil off of the ignition. What do you think?
Hey ian old skool classics here im wiring a 52 from scratch have universal harness motor has been switched to 12v but all gauges haven't it has new led tail lights . Needing to know what i need to convert from 6 volt to 12 volt ..
