    Nice vid. I just want to point out that you can also get 12 volt generators. Just sayin. 😉
    Just a heads up. The stock distributor on the 8BA has no centrifugal advance provision so if you are using it with anything other than the original Holley 94, 1901 two barrels or the Holley 4000 and 2140 4 barrels you need to change out the Load O matic distributor as the engines timing control system only works with those four carbs. I can highly recommend a book by John W Lawson called Flathead Facts. It shows what mods really work on the flathead and what doesn't using over 400 dyno tests for proof. It is an eye opener.

    Just an FYI- The 59AB and 8BA, 239 CI engines were rated at 100 HP and later to 110.

    Pulling the convertor with the engine isn't a good thing. You really should disconnect the convertor from the flex plate and shove it back into the bell housing. You take a chance on damaging the front pump seal and/or bushing when you leave it connected to the flex plate.

    5to 7 hp
