Does the knotting stand out on Jolie?? I recently purchased Ignite in (12FS8 Shaded Praline) after watching many, MANY reviews, and when I got mine the knots were SO obvious, even after some plucking, that I just can’t wear it :( So I am now looking for another wig, I have had 3 fails so far and I really don’t want to have another one. TY.
Do you know if it possible to change slightly the colour of a synthetic wig? I have the Festa by Ellen Wille that has very blond highlights on the front and I would like to darken them a bit . 👋
I want one just like this!! The blonde one! Beautiful!! I like all the things Kim likes on hairstyles! Where do you find a steamer? I just love y’all, such a fun place full of knowledge!! ( Lynda) hop to see y’all soon! I live in FTW!! Recovering from scoliosis surgery for a year, so now it’s time to get back to living! I have wigs but all need work and I need help! 🤦♀️
The very first one is Ginger Brown that we put on her and then the second one is Maple Sugar-R. So in order of appearance: Mocha-H, Ginger Brown, Maple Sugar-R. :)
Looks great. I need to do the same changes to my wigs. How did you actually get the height in the front, besides zigzagging the part? You said you used a steamer to set the part, but did you also use it to add lift?
Shortening the nape can be tricky as it gets closer to the structure of the cap, hence the hair gets thicker and more difficult to manipulate. It all depends on the style.
I've been wearing wigs for just a few months, does everyone experience itchiness? My hair loss it mostly on the crown and the rest is vary thin, is it better to keep what you have, or cut it short? I feel like I'm getting to the point where I want to just shave it all off! I do use the wig grip, but which one holds on to the wig best?
Hi Cindy, this is Misty...I have found that the cleaner my hair is the more itchiness I experience. I think the more you strip the natural oils from your scalp the itchier it gets. Hope this helps! Also wearing a Wigrip helps by providing a barrier between your head and the wig. :)
Wished you guys spent a little more time and instead of talking about how you changed it, but by actually showing it. It would have been a much better and informative video
This wig is the most flattering wig I have ever seen on Kim. The cut, the color -everything is perfect and she looks so beautiful!
I have been wearing wigs for 6 years and I learned something new from the two of you today. Great, helpful video! 👏👩
That is awesome! Thank you for sharing!

I'm so glad I found your site!! Many helpful videos.
Thanks for info on wigs.
What brand of wig grip is the best? I have a small head, is it adjustable?
Thanks

What color was the 2nd wig (Jolie) you put on her? Was it Maple Syrup?

Unfortunately the color is what it is. Even though the fibers look like hair, they are essentially acrylic.
Mimi's Wig Boutique thanks 🙏
I can’t believe that Kim didn’t say a word but
Bye.
Thanks for the tips.❤️

LOVE this kind of plain wig after you fixed it!
Thank you ladies! You are so helpful. Love the second wig. You didn’t mention the color. Please respond. Would love to know like any newbies watching.

Can one of theses also be fitted on men and styled appropriately telly
New follower and I was wondering do you have a video showing us how you are styling wigs with the steamer and curling hd defiant wigs on the channel?
I would love to see how to shorten the nape to be about 2 -2.5 “.

u used a steamer?
Yes we have a video on how we did it.
Love it the exact style I want....😀
Please show how to steam.
There is a video devoted to steaming coming shortly!
Looks great and good ideas!
Love this one
Good tip!

@@MimisWigChicks Ah... I'll skip the hair wash every couple of days and see if it helps. Thank You!

👏
Didn't show how you customized it, only showed the end results.
Ava Martinez we did an in depth video where we did it on camera. 😊
you didn't actually show how to do anything.
Thank you, that is why we made a new video taking our viewers step by step through the process. :)
