Devin Booker has officially earned himself 3 different attention to detail videos, he just keeps evolving and there’s always something new to breakdown
As a Suns fan I gotta thank you for showing DBook some more love. Honestly the fans outside us Suns fans would call his game boring and bland. For me personally I see it as efficient basketball. Using the least amount of effort to score, it's like poetry the way Book makes those shots.
@@ebikinginsandals it’s unfortunate that the suns didn’t put a competent roster around him until three years ago. book has only been in the playoffs three times and has already been to the finals
I love the fact you analyse skills and microskills, so that anyone can apply them, rather than just a players overall playstyle. Realistically 99% of people won't be playing like how Devin Booker is etc (not having the ability and/or green light to take tough isolation shots etc).
yeah you gotta be master at midranges for coaches to let you take shots like that. and also a solid shooter, and iq player and visibly the best player on the team
Went back right here coz Book is now my favorite player bcoz of the Olympics. He was very consistent on both ends of the floor. He played his role to perfection. As a fan, i just hope he gets out of the toxicity in Suns.
Is there a video that teaches you on what to do once you get past the first layer of defense ? I always get past the primary but struggle with help D :/
With playing with pace and at a slower speed I see player use it more in a pick and roll can you use a slower speed in an iso situation and of you can do you know in ways you could play at a slower speed and beat someone on an iso situation
“He was despised and rejected- a man of sorrows, acquainted with deepest grief. We turned our backs on him and looked the other way. He was despised, and we did not care. Yet it was our weaknesses he carried; it was our sorrows that weighed him down. And we thought his troubles were a punishment from God, a punishment for his own sins! But he was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed. All of us, like sheep, have strayed away. We have left God’s paths to follow our own. Yet the Lord laid on him the sins of us all. He was oppressed and treated harshly, yet he never said a word. He was led like a lamb to the slaughter. And as a sheep is silent before the shearers, he did not open his mouth. Unjustly condemned, he was led away. No one cared that he died without descendants, that his life was cut short in midstream. But he was struck down for the rebellion of my people. He had done no wrong and had never deceived anyone. But he was buried like a criminal; he was put in a rich man’s grave. But it was the Lord’s good plan to crush him and cause him grief. Yet when his life is made an offering for sin, he will have many descendants. He will enjoy a long life, and the Lord’s good plan will prosper in his hands. When he sees all that is accomplished by his anguish, he will be satisfied. And because of his experience, my righteous servant will make it possible for many to be counted righteous, for he will bear all their sins. I will give him the honors of a victorious soldier, because he exposed himself to death. He was counted among the rebels. He bore the sins of many and interceded for rebels.” Isaiah 53:3-12 NLT This was written around 700 years before Jesus came into the earth, yet it describes His life perfectly. "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16 God loves you so much and showed that by sending His Son to die for us so that we may inherit eternal life. We deserve judgement but He gave us heaven through faith in Jesus. He took the punishment we deserved, and by putting our faith in Him we can be saved. Bro has needed one he scored 70 as a 21 year old, and since then he’s only gotten better.
You realize he’s always played like that there’s nothing new to his game he’s just got his own way of playing that’s not like anyone else!!
Booker is pure poetry. His offense is precise and surgical
My favorite player right now

It’s crazy how young he is and he already mastered his game. Best SG in the league.
thats what happens when you model your mindset from Kobe,
crazy thing is he has been in the league forever because he was drafted so young. ton of experience and time to improve his game and he's...26?

@@1Lyfe.Of.Designer yeah, just awful drafting and FAs
Definitely best SG I hope he also is able to, with his teammates this season to win a championship!! 🙏🙏❤️

He played his role to perfection.
As a fan, i just hope he gets out of the toxicity in Suns.
The plays set up for book is also why he plays the way he does. He's a very good adapting player
Book has beautiful lift on his jump shot
My new Idol after Kobe😊
Really appreciate this man! You’re great at what you do
He's just nice af. Practice makes perfect aswell
Damn this was actually sooo soo helpful psychologically
This is legit wat I need to watch
could you make a video on a shooting off the dribble workout ?
This
I know he gets a lot of hate but he’s my Idol I base my game off of him
tired of people hating on booker
a prerequisit to being calm and controlled on most of his moves is also having strong legs and core
2:44 was just messed up. 😂
Been watching the playoffs now I understand why bro on the cover of 2k23. That shot was video game type shit

Devin Booker is definitely not one of my favorite players on the court, but I absolutely love his game
Dbook is legit I don’t understand his hate guy is one of the best ever
Who y’all got in the playoffs?
Lakers

Celtics or suns

STUDY kyrie highlights; he’s great at dealing with help defenders. Low gathers , high gathers , euro step, etc
W video thank you so much
I see a lot Kobe/MJ micro skills going on with Book
I’m just glad he abuses that midrange. It’s boring to see EVERYONE shooting 3s
Edit: him and KD my fav middy shooters right now
Yo can you please do a small defending against a big man post, and guys, please call me stupid and gimme the link if he has already done it, thank you
His deceleration is absolutely filthy

great video! kevin porter jr next!
I feel like there are better options than Kevin Porter to study game film wise and personality wise
He jumps so high on his shot and it is impossible to block
Anthony Edwards next please
First move was a travel, great video nonetheless I just had to hate real fast
🤣🤣🤣 at least you’re honest
Take him over brown or Tatum anytime
How to trash talk and lose like Devin booker
