- Dan & Phil at the "A Guide to Vlogging" Panel on 6/27/2014. Sorry I couldn't catch the whole panel and that it's a bit choppy towards the end - the panel was an hour-long and I didn't have a tripod lol. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did! This was my first time ever seeing Dan & Phil, they're incredible people. Thanks for watching!
Also, if you're hoping to see the other panelists talk, I couldn't get everyone in the shot without moving the camera too much from the angle I was at. This video is focused on Dan & Phil.

I love everything about Dan in this. He scolds Louis for using his phone during the panel. He stuck up for Phil. Literally my hero and in my opinion one of the most, and few, relatable, real, just overall amazing and caring UA-camr. (Phil is too but Dan just sort of shined in this.)

I kept getting so angry cause Phil kept like, going to speak and then stopping right away, like I wanted to scream cause Phil has really genuine and good things to say, not that they don't, but I would have really liked to hear his opinions on things and he couldn't express it. but I am pretty much the same and I hate interrupting and such. Dan was so sweet too, like checking if he wanted to talk and then in that one part finally just being like, "Phil would like to express an opinion". I watched a longer clip of that whole part and the whole thing is so kind cause he checks with Phil before he goes for it. Thank you so much for uploading this though, I really enjoyed getting to see most of the entire thing.

Aw, I love how Dan stood up for Phil. I was starting to get a little pissed off myself that our ray of sunshine couldn't get one word in. I relate to Phil, I'm too shy and polite to interrupt people. Which is why some of my friends stand up for me like Dan did for Phil.

But listen, this is not only but Phan as a romantic couple. In fact, not about romance at all. Don't get me wrong, I am literal phan trash. But then, that bond of friendship so strong, stronger than a romantic relationship. Lovers ought to be friends, first and foremost is what I think. And god, you can see that they love each other (still, not romance) and look out for each other and care about the other so much because being best friends is something so dangerous, but here you take the fall anyway. It's lovely and beautiful how you can just trust somebody so implicitly. Dan knows Phil, same as the other way around.
I will just leave now because I am drowning in a sea of pheels and emotions.
Thanks so much for saying this. Dan clearly loves Phil, and Phil loves Dan, regardless if it is romantic or not. They're such close friends, such a massive bond between them. It's really cute because every time the topic of friendship occurs, Dan glances at Phil like he's mentally telling him how much he appreciates him as a friend. I'm also Phan Trash, but if people can't see part them in a romantic relationship, I don't see how they can ship them. Dan and Phil have such a strong friendship, like you said. It's really touching to see them interact so lovingly, because we don't get to see that often, because of the phandom. It breaks my heart a little because they can't be as close as they are off camera, opposed to on. They have to be careful what they say, because one wrong move and the phandom will be all over it. Dan can't even say he loves Phil platonically without the phandom freaking out. Their friendship is truly beautiful, and I wish we got to see more of it.

Thank you so much for saying this! I agree. You'd have to be really shallow to only ship them because they look cute together. (not to say they don't) I think that's part of the reason the divorce rate is so high (only speaking of my experience as an American), that people separate friendship and romance as nonrelated. Friendship is a much more powerful bond than romance and will last longer, I believe, as well. I think that fact is lost on a lot of people especially in fandoms namely the phandom and it does lead to uncomfortable situations with the parties involved like Dan and Phil or Markiplier and Jacksepticeye or even between my friends in real life. It's sad really.

Oldest siblings are usually very loud, opinionated and always interrupt others. This is based on many studies also makes sense if you think about it.

So I was watching this and then I thought: Phil made Dan's life now, possible. Without Phil, Dan might not be a UA-camr. So whenever Phil was to shy to talk he would nudge Dan as if asking permission to talk and Dan would just give him the smile of confidence. And I can't help but think that Dan is so grateful of Phil, but doesn't realise that Phil is so grateful of Dan.

being there, a funny bit i remember is daniel nervously sipping his water bottle, and giving phil a confused look, pointing to the pitcher and cups on the table, pointing to them and wondering why they were there since they had been given water bottles.. and then when he finished his water bottle, he points to the pitcher of water, asking phil to pour him a cup.
this was my first time ever seeing them in person and i was so pleased with how they acted exactly the way they do in videos/liveshows/on the radio etc.. they aren't fake at all!! they truly are the loveliest most honest, caring, funny, true, beautiful, angelic beings ever, they are so greatful to us for providing their 'milk' for them as dan has said in the past.
they truly appreciate us and they are aware of how much they mean to us (in the most humble way of course)

I was glad when dan said "can phil express an opinion" because we know phil sometimes has trouble speaking out to a massive audience in public and it was his first panel :) It makes me happy that dan is always there to help phil also in the middle of the video you can see dan leans over to phil and says are you ok :)

Phil and Dan are amazing. Phil let everyone talk while he stopped himself. he is so selfless but you can also see his frustration. Dan sticking up for him was just gorgeous

Hey guys, I need help from the Dan and Phil fandom. I've been a huge fan of these guys for a long time and they have changed my life in incredible ways. I want to get a special tattoo to thank them for all they've done.

It's sad though because Phil leaned in to talk many many times but would just get cut off. I'm sure he had so much more to say than he actually did. And the times when Dan let him speak or helped him speak was really nice and I wish he would've said more. Like at 25:25 Dan asked if he wanted to talk and let him. And then at 27:13 Dan jumped in to let him speak again. idk i just really like how they help each other and how their friendship is so great ahhdfgksyfglhcjaskh
Dan and Phil (mostly Phil) remind me so much of me in social situations here. Introvert and can't get a word in edgeways it's also a being too polite thing for me..I would never interrupt someone else speaking or if they try to speak while I'm speaking I will usually shut up and I hate that about myself. I cared what Dan and Phil had to say though..
If I ever meet Dan and Phil or just Dan I will get Hello Internet ready on my phone and I'll play it to him😂
My friend and I agreed that if we ever meet them, we'll go up to them, and say "Hi" doing the hand motion thing, and hold up the captions with our hands, and say, "my name is-" and just say our names instead of Dan's.

wow dan and phil really are such amazing and thoughtful people. both of them looked genuinely interested in what the others were saying. they contributed valuable things to the conversations, especially when dan made sure phil got to say what he needed to say. I stan the right people💜
I like how as soon as the guy finishes talking they all go RUNNING towards them trying to get them to sign something. I definitely saw the horror in Dan's eye as he was in mid drink of his water
