The "off course" at 1:45 was due to the heavy block dropping off the end of the cutter base. If you place another piece of wood, same thickness as the base, to extend the base, it will not produce that curvy end. Dividers placed in the mould at soap-making time would give a more regular result. I am evaluating this "big cake of soap" idea, but for now, I feel the long loaf design saves a step in the process, as the bars come out the right width for cutting into bars. Hmm, swings, roundabouts.
I'm loving the nails!! Also I've seen other cutters like that, they are great! I think if the bottom board is not long enough. The heavy soap drops down and makes the cut wrong.
Awesome, I love watching your business grow! Cutter looks great, hopefully it will save you a bit of time, but we'll miss watching you cut them with that big knife!
Soap looks wonderful and so do your nails. :) Also, the swimming has paid off....you look great. BTW, the last soaps I ordered were fantastic as usual. Keep up the good work. Virginia from Las Vegas
Buds work is nice and look forward to a cutter someday. Glad his splitter is just as easy. :) thanks for sharing!

My god, that soap is gorgeous.
if you put another piece of wood same size at the end of the cutter it will definitely cut the soap into equal sizes. That is my own opinion.
Great video. May I ask where you purchased the log splitter from ? Thank you
Love the beans on top!
Ohoooo Tiggy Mommy needs to have a go at this good for slicing cheese me thinks, must say though will miss the dreamy cutting with the big knife xxx

If you put the soap on a strip of wax paper , it will slide better:)
And I like watching it :)
