Thanks for showing the transit from terminal 1 to terminal of TPE. Does it just need walking and not take bus shuttle? Do you know rough time needed?
I don't think there is a bus shuttle. Maybe about 30 minutes at least!
They don't really compete much with QR. Very little overlap in routes.
Was there any issue with the 15 pound weight limit for carry-on baggage? I’ve never noticed that from airlines before. Did they weigh carry-on baggage?
For business class you actually get 30 pound for carry on!

Is it possible to order the meal whenever we want during the flight?
I do not believe so for the main meals, but there is a whole separate menu section on all day dining.
We are taking the same flights soon (BKK-TPE-LAX). Is the ground escosrt transfer standard for business class passengers?
I believe it is only for tight connections!
@woodysone we have that same under 1hr connection too so we may have it too I guess

Unfortunately, starlux didn’t fly from Chicago, I have no choice other than Eva, Cathay will fly non- stop to Hong Kong from Chicago, I will take Cathay over Eva if I fly to Hong Kong, Eva services is wonderful too, except the 777-300 is a little old as of today date, I definitely choose to fly Starlux if they fly from Chicago, I don’t mind making connections from Taiwan to other destinations.
I really hope they can expand their network soon. I agree that Eva’s 777 is getting really out of date.
@@woodysoneflying I heard that EVA Air will use A350-1000 to replace some of its B777s, but it will have to wait until 2026 to have the first A350-1000. This news comes from Taiwanese media
