Thanks for sharing Terry, the most enjoyable countryside and I could almost taste that beer!
There's much I miss about living in the UK. The constantly changing scenery with surprises just around the next corner. The things I don't miss are the potholes and the traffic.
I was speaking to a cyclist who was on his way to the UK to see a relative in Hertfordshire. He left his home in the Dordogne a week earlier and was allowing 6 weeks to get there. I asked how far he cycled before wild camping and he said he stopped when it felt right and didn't set targets. Very laid back attitude, something I envy as I try to plan every detail.
Looking forward to seeing your C2C.
