Very enjoyable video and a slightly different concept to previously with the interviews. A fitting tribute to Ken Aske and his wife who put such a lot of hard work and effort into developing the BAA Junior club. I can remember fishing the qualifiers for the Junior national team at venues like Kinver, Blackpole, and Wootton Wawen and then going on the coach journey to the Lancaster canal at Garstang. He was a really nice man who provided so much encouragement to young anglers.
Lovely video James, very informative and enjoyable. Great to bump into you and the handsome Monty the other day at Uncle Woody's. Definitely stand you a Guinness at your next Roadshow. Cheers Paul
Nice to see you back James and glad everyone is ok.Please get Chappie to film some more live matches because i enjoy the live stuff. Still enjoying my little 10ft combo feeder but its been put away now soI can concentrate on catching the Barbel and Chub on the river Thames. Back to match fishing next winter.
I believe this is the first live match situation covered by Cadence. I really enjoyed the fact James made the time to explain his thinking during the match. Well done again guys.
James likes to concentrate during matches and not be disturbed. I think that is fair. So it's unlikely that we will do many live coverages, but you never know. We'll keep an open mind on the possibility.
Reassuring to see a healthy Cadence presence. This even just wouldn't be right without Dear Diane steering the whole event. And It was just wonderful to see Semmo not only that but taking past but getting on the leader board too. Beast of all, from my perspective, is to see Evesham being a sell out. How good is that ??!!
Hi James we are finding all our rivers out of sorts at the moment everything is weeks behind after such a late short spring with frost in may . See you soon
Thank you for the pleasure to view this and how wonderful it is to see so much being done for our youth out and about bothering nobody and enjoying our wonderful countryside. I just wonder how Boris Johnson's wife Carrie sees her son's future? I guess we can only imagine, can't we!
Some cracking nets of fish from some cracking anglers. Now that the river season has started might we perhaps see another video from Alan 'The Pantry' Barnes anytime soon?
Yes, Alan will be in the mix again soon.he has been very busy with his own business recently and it's just a question of deciding what he should do on camera. I know the River Weaver is somewhere he has started fishing this season, so we might see him on there with my cameras present. Chappy 👍
@@cadencefishinguk Cheers, Chappy. I think I might have suggested this before, but the River Crossens is a venue I'd be interested in seeing Alan tackle. See if he can get amongst those Tincas!

Northern River Masters last year Steven was a live match👍
Thanks James it's good to see you competing and posting your videos again.
Some lovely memories there James of the Junior Starlets days and a nice reference to Ken and Janice. Glad to see that their work continues at Evesham.
Great to see some match fishing again, good luck with qualifying.
Great to see some fish coming out. Hope the festival takes place with the tented village fishing stands,
Only fished one match at Evesham, like you, I drew badly and bombed out with 2-3lbs, but it is a great venue.

@@timestealer9152 Yes, the crossens is another we have earmarked.👍
Always looks great there never fished the Avon how do you go about booking on 1 of those matches
Go to Hampton ferry website and under "angling" you will find "book a qualifying match"
Great effort, but just typical that when the camera is there the drawing arm lets you down 🙈
James where did you get your hat from please
proper match, at least you beat clive branson....
