Brilliant video mate, I bet there’s plenty of lads my age who did all their fishing on lakes n rivers years ago, who’ve watched this n would love to go and fish a festival like this one, proper fishing!
Well done mate up against some big hitters and these beutiful natural venues as you know change from day to day and week to week if you were there every day for a lifetime you probably wouldn't fish the same day twice lol thanks again for a great vid see you soon
That's so true Trevor I agree. It reminds you of why some of us first got involved in fishing doesn't it. The venue and surroundings used to mean as much as the quality of the fishing :)
@@CatchFishingChannel it's what we here in Norfolk love about the broads system they are wild the surroundings are beutiful and all the money and tackle in the world doesn't guarantee winning on any day it might help sometimes. We have lots of boats but that business is the biggest money earner for most of East Norfolk ignore the boats and the fishing is superb a challenge some people find hard. It's late October and we had a good little match today on the upper thurne with 23lb winning i put 19lb of roach and skims together still excellent fishing to be had for all. Anyway see you soon
@@CatchFishingChannel watched your vid last year on the yare it's a brilliant river most of the time but like tidal rivers it can be hard especially if it's running clear them are the days local knowledge and or lucky hand will win out. a little tip fish meal i personally avoid it on this river. All of the rivers have been putting up 40lb + bags on the NDAA bure and thurne and the yare regularly and 100lb isn't impossible on any of the rivers we are lucky people indeed
Thanks for that feedback Trevor mate and the 'fishmeal' decision was an issue on that match. I would have loved to have spent a few days on the river just enjoying the fishing but it sounds a stunning river. Hopefully I'll get chance to get back there soon. Thanks again for watching mate :)

Hi jamie, it looked like you drive through dublin off the ferry, why not pay the tunnel toll , it's awsome, five minutes onto the motorway. Also on the last day you mentions about Andy power setting up a waggler and that being Key but nothing later on it, did he do well on it? Would like to see a video on how you record your videos, how you fix the camera, what camera you use etc. Cheers
Apologies mate next year I'll do a video covering each day but he was about 1kg behind me. I had a bigger weight but as regards Andy's weight, the waggler was by far the best method for him. OK I'll do a video covering cameras etc mate ;)

Superb fishing that mate. I've been on the Yare a couple of times but it seems a fantastic place to live for an angler :)
