First of all, your crocheted panel is gorgeous in color and design! Your tutorial for attaching a fabric back instead of a crocheted back panel is spot on. I feel as though I can do this easily with your step by step instructions making it very clear. You did such a beautiful job and inspired me! Thank you.
I just discovered your channel when I looked for a way to attach my two crochet cushion covers to a fabric backing. An amazing and ingenious way to really make your attachment secure. My only question is how you would remove the covers when they need to be washed. Thanks you for a wonderful tutorial.
Two ways to do this. One method is to add a zip into the fabric (or you could envelope the fabric too I suppose) or the other option is to make sure when you are sl st the edges together to make one side a side that you can unpick easily and then sl st it again once washed
Thank you for making this very helpful video. Your amazing work is such an inspiration and your technique is meticulous. Has anyone had success attaching the thin crochet strip to the fabric back with a sewing machine? Hand sewing hurts my hands too much, but I am not much of a seamstress. I don’t want to ruin my work if it is too complicated.
I've just discovered you and I'm ecstatic! I'm following you and can't wait to add you to my library. Brilliant work. I'm just learning how to do mosaic crochet and it is fun. I deal with debilitating pain and learning new stitches and techniques is a Godsend because it allows me to concentrate on something other than my pain. Thank You!!
Thank you for those kind words. And I am happy that discovering mosaic crochet is helping you to manage your pain. Very pleased to hear that you are finding this useful, I must admit it is the only method I now use when I make cushions. Are you a member of my FB community as I would love to see your cushions when they are completed 😘
So happy that you have found this video helpful. I must admit I put fabric backings on all my crocheted cushions now and thank you for those kind words about my cushions.
I’m so sorry I am the confused one! At 11:22 of your video you are working with the blue yarn crocheting around the cream colored yarn, but you say you were adding double crochet’s, but it looks like you are adding single crochets? Did I miss something here? If you could advise I would be very grateful. Thank you!

Ah all my patterns are UK terms, so when you hear me say dc it is a UK dc which is the same as a US single crochet 👍
Love 😊

when you attach the blue to the off white you are saying double crochet, but it looks like a single crochet.
All my patterns are written in UK terms and dc in the UK = SC in the US.
@@daisyknots oh ok thank you, love the cushion design.
@@daisyknots Do you have video on the whole cushion front? Are the video,s in some order? Would love to make one.
