Superb record shop this one. Really like the layout how the CD's are displayed in the white shelving. I could spend hours in that place. Ued CD's is where the gems can be found. Moby Grape is a band I am looking to check out. You cannot go wrong with American Physc bands 😃. A genre I am currently exploring a lot.
Good lord, I could take a shopping cart in that store and just sweep CDs off the shelves, I'll take the ones I own even! Wish I had someplace like this near me. I guess I still go with the original Blind Faith album cover as one of the top controversial covers.
You're right Brendon, thanks for reminding me that there is a difference between Glam Rock & Glam Metal. Myself, like most people tend to forget that. T-Rex & Poison are definitely not the same scene or vibe.
That’s it…. I’m booking a trip to come back home. Bro. I live Princeton Record Exchange. It was my go-to every Saturday. I usually worked on Saturday in the Mercer County area so if always make sure I stopped: The deli at the end of the street is amazing too by the way! I love that… along the wall is cheap CDs $1-$6…. The other side where the newer stuff is sometimes has gems in there for $7.99. Great place. Good haul!!!! That Urchin (Adrian Smith) is pretty good. Went on an Adrian Smith kick after he had that release with Kotzen.
Really like how you now provide a captioned description of a lot of the things you pull. Thanks for the video even though I don’t buy CDs anymore I still enjoyed looking over your shoulder. Love Alvin Lee stuff.
Glad you’re enjoying the little extra captioned info. I don’t know why I didn’t think of it sooner. Since I can’t always talk over the music playing, I think this is a good alternative.
Wow! That Rock Candy version of I-Ten's "Taking a Cold Look" is a find! You don't see used Rock Candy CD's too often and that price of $7.99 is great! 😎🎵🎸
Great grab on Chilliwack, features the great Brian McLeod, who went on to do his FF fronted projects Headpins, Chrissy Steel etc. Before his sad passing.
I used to go there decades ago and find so many rare rock/pop/soundtrack albums. If you were into soundtracks, that was one of THE places to go in the country.
If you’re a big fan and it makes you happy to have them all, then yes. I’m someone who doesn’t like to own a bunch of the same album unless there is something different musically about the album.
BRENDEN you surprise me sometimes which CDS you don't have I thought for sure you would had Randy Rhodes Tribute CD I love that one one of my favorites
Suzi Quatro is brilliant and that Uncovered cd is awesome. Never heard about Urchin before but it caught my attention since Adrian Smith was in it. Going to check them out and see if I can find any cd's.
Great to have such shops there we have very little here in UK but saying that i got 9 cds in charity shops a few days ago.On subject of Heavy Pettin ive always been a fan since getting first Neat record single.Their debut album is awesome and still have my originalvinyl copy which according to messages i have got from the band is being remastered as we speak and sounds awesome according to the band.Keep up the good work.
Haven't seen a Chilliwack album in years, or The Flock. Have a Flock compilation 2 disc set. John Lawton reminds me I just ordered the new Uriah Heep album. Have quite a lot of Oingo Boingo. I'd like to dig through that store, they've got some interesting things I haven't seen in a long time. I have that Ozzy. I hope you got the Manfred Mann with the Rabin solo before they eliminated it, I thought it was a really good album. I've got a Grape compilation but not that one. Always fun.
WOW! This store has some GREAT prices!! Too bad they don't sell the cds online. So many great bargains. Their box sets were great. Too bad I live 1500 miles away....
I’m sorry for that they don’t sell online but at the same time I’m glad for me so that the product says in the store. Still you could find a proxy shopper to go for you and FaceTime you to allow you to shop and then they mail the new finds to you. Wouldn’t that be nice! Sounds like we have a new business plan. Imagine if we could shop at record stores all over the world like that with a proxy shopper! 👊
Amazing stuff & great prices too. That Jefferson Starship boxset is very difficult to come by at a reasonable price lately (been looking for it for a few years now!). Cheers.
Man! Wish I had a store like that around me. Really good prices and a lot of stuff that is very hard to find. If I were there, I would have spent a fortune! Thanks for the video, dude!
I can't remember if I mentioned it before, but I actually went to school with Chris Holmes from Wasp! Also, I would have picked up the Mickey Ratt. I didn't realize Tracii played with that band....
He didn’t…not originally anyway. All the songs are re-recorded with George Lynch and Tracii Guns. Stephen released it under the name Mickey Ratt because he didn’t own the name Ratt at the time. Stephen does have some real Mickey Ratt recordings released that have Jake E Lee as he was in the band.
Seems like a great store! I really like your record store videos, there is something magical visiting such places! Quick question: during the first cds you are showing, I can listen to Bad Religion's Process of Belief playing in the background. Do you happen to know if that was from the vinyl or from the cd? Weird question, I know, but I just want to check something!
Hi Brendon, I need to correct on a cd you picked up when you were in the store. The Crown of Thorns- Burning cd. This is not the band with Jean Beauvoir, this is a black/death metal band with the same name, actually they are called The Crown these days. I love Crown of thorns with Jean Beauvoir and i seen that cd along time ago and thought i don't have that one in my collection and come to find out it's not the same band. Love your channel thank you Brendon. rock on
I want The Fixx album (9:21)...couldn't see the price in the video. It's usually priced too high, IMO. Les Dudek album is cool. Moby Grape...cool. Did not realize they were such an influence on The Doobies until I read Simmons/Johnston's book. Derringer-Bogert-Appice is a new one on me. 😊
Same with me regarding the Doobies, and I have always been a huge Doobies/Grape fan. But as soon as it was mentioned in the book, I said, "Of course! It's obvious!"
I have tribute (great Stuff), and Mannford Mann (CD/Vinyl). There throes and final top 40 hit Runner (a big MTV video) is on there. Also have the Chillawack (CD/Vinyl) Opus X has the bands only two US top 40 hits My Girl (Gone Gone Gone) and I Believe.
You mean to tell me you own 12,000 + CDs and you don't have the Ozzy Osbourne and Randy Rhoades live tribute CD. How did that slipped by? Seems like the Ultimate Sin right there. No pun intended 😂
Transfer Station (1979) is Fotomaker's third and final album. It's more dance-rock, disco and funk than the band's signature power pop sound that you hear on their first two albums, and it includes NO hit singles. Sounds more like ABBA than it does Raspberries or the Babys. Fyi, Fotomaker's debut is their 1978 S/T album (their only charting album of the three releases,) and Vis-A-Vis (1978) is their sophomore album. Wally Bryson of Raspberries fame was the lead guitarist in this 70s rock supergroup which also featured Dino Danelli and Gene Cornish of Young Rascals fame.
Nice to see Aerosmith going put 3 disc Greatest hits on there last tour with se remixes I just can't believe they have anything from just play on there
Nice and humanistic in a sense 🙂 "Chill Pill" for US$ 2 I think for a US CD press of 1990s I assume 😯. I would take 2 (three but I have one already 🙂) if in a decent condition, I mean for 2 dollars in almost any condition 😀 I see already discussed Ozzy's "Tribute to R.Rhoads", good one actually. I would just go for that US remastered release of mid-1990s (1995 it seems), those are good remasters, "right" ones 🙂 Like them as well as a lot of other US CD presses of 1980s and most of 1990s of "classic rock"/hard/metal bands, even represses are mostly good and they were not expensive like 10 years ago, I assume they are still not and easily found in USA. L7, King Kobra (was there? 🙂), some boxsets etc. 🙂 Just for "K.F.D." I would look for an original US release (again 🙂) in a somewhat unusual package 🙂 One of the best WASP albums I think after all these years, dark energy seems real and overwhelming there. It looks like a good store overall to spend some time at and make some purchases 😀 And vinyl not touched yet 🙂

shop looks great. it was nice to hear them playing Bad Religion, too (great band). i wish i had a store like this near me
That Alvin Lee CD looks great. Anything by him is worth it
I’ve really been enjoying it.
Good lord, I could take a shopping cart in that store and just sweep CDs off the shelves, I'll take the ones I own even! Wish I had someplace like this near me. I guess I still go with the original Blind Faith album cover as one of the top controversial covers.
I’ll always go with an original album cover over any edited, censored, and revised art work. Nine times out of ten the new art is no good.
Can't wait for Nita Strauss second Album really like the first one
👍
Nice finds i would have picked up the John Lawton for myself for sure as i don't own that one for my collection.
You're right Brendon, thanks for reminding me that there is a difference between Glam Rock & Glam Metal. Myself, like most people tend to forget that. T-Rex & Poison are definitely not the same scene or vibe.

Yeah man come on back to record store greatness!! We’d love to have you again. 👍🤘
Wow...a step back in time! Love it! The store is off the charts! Great!
Wow that is a great looking store. Loads of stuff to dig through. I can't believe they had the C86 boxset on the shelf. Didn't expect to see that.
They had so much good stuff!
Wow! That Rock Candy version of I-Ten's "Taking a Cold Look" is a find! You don't see used Rock Candy CD's too often and that price of $7.99 is great! 😎🎵🎸
That early Boz Scaggs was well worth acquiring. So many classic rock cds there for chips.
My friend Joe is enjoying it thoroughly.
I love your videos so much that i stay up till 3 in the morning Arizona time just to watch them 🤘
Great shopping experience. Lots of cool stuff to buy. Love those cd box sets. As always, thanks for sharing 🤘 🍻!
That song called "The Runner" on the Manfred Mann CD you got is one of the best underrated songs of the '80s in my opinion. 😎🎸🎵
I’ll have to listen to that song specifically now.
Great grab on Chilliwack, features the great Brian McLeod, who went on to do his FF fronted projects Headpins, Chrissy Steel etc. Before his sad passing.
hey Brandon it is a thrill to see these shops that you in the US have been resisting, here in Italy they are now a rarity, you are a lucky man ,bye
I wish you could visit these too but so glad that you can at least come along on my journeys and live vicariously through me.
I own the first two albums of Heavy Petting on vinyl, hope some day to find those on CD on my local CD store
The 2nd album sounds like a lost Def Leppard album IMO.
That Fixx CD is ultra rare and valuable! 😮
Really? I bought it new when it came out, still have it.
Yeah if I didn’t already own it I would have picked it up.
Time flies in record stores..3h 👏👍🏽
I used to go there decades ago and find so many rare rock/pop/soundtrack albums. If you were into soundtracks, that was one of THE places to go in the country.
This seems to be the place to go for everything!
9:58 is probably one of my favourite albums of all time. Is it worth trying to collect all of the cover color variants?
If you’re a big fan and it makes you happy to have them all, then yes. I’m someone who doesn’t like to own a bunch of the same album unless there is something different musically about the album.
11:00 I really enjoy some Richard Marx. You got me with that song. His stuff is always great.
We are blessed to have this store by us. The record prices, grading and turnover is second to none. Good stuff!
OMG we are super blessed! I’m constantly grateful for all the cool record store I’ve found.
BRENDEN you surprise me sometimes which CDS you don't have I thought for sure you would had Randy Rhodes Tribute CD I love that one one of my favorites
Really? You know I’m not into live albums. So they’re usually the last ones I buy.
Suzi Quatro is brilliant and that Uncovered cd is awesome. Never heard about Urchin before but it caught my attention since Adrian Smith was in it. Going to check them out and see if I can find any cd's.
Taking a chance on a Record is fun
RIP Mark Lanegan
Also I love the music in the background. I noticed some Bad Religion in there
Great video. I was at iron maiden last night - unbelievable concert 😃😃
UP THE IRONS!

I love the second album from Heavy Pettin best. Sounds like a lost Def Leppard album.

Saint Graal, so exiting collection 😜
Should have got that Dave Brubeck boxed set!
👍
Chilliwack is such a great band, discovered them when I visited Canada many years ago. Opus X is a masterpiece.
I hope the Randy Rhoads tribute CD you got is the remastered version. The original version that they had put out I believe is edited.
I can't remember if I mentioned it before, but I actually went to school with Chris Holmes from Wasp! Also, I would have picked up the Mickey Ratt. I didn't realize Tracii played with that band....

9:39 I really enjoy this album but all his albums are great especially his 70’s output.

No, I don’t know which format they played. My guess is a CD.
O Bad Religion and classic Fannia Recods Salsa music good prices I think is a great store.👍
Stupendous!
👍 Did Joe find any of the stuff he was looking for?
He did not, but he found plenty of other stuff. I think we both got 11 CDs. 🤘

promos always great to buy,
they made not so much 👍
I always go blind at cd stores not use my phone look up cds to see their genre & just role the dice. I miss the 90's.
That store is huge !
Glad I don’t live near there lol.
Are you gonna get the new Aerosmith in August 50th anniversary greatest hits on 3cds?

Hey brendon do you like wishbone Ash they had some classic albums Argus is one
Prices a little pricey there. I stay away. But I admit well stocked
Don’t know where you shop or live, but the prices are outstanding here.
How is the parking there???
There’s a huge parking lot behind the store that based on his videos, he seems to miss! Lol
We park on the street. It’s easy.
