I don't normally commit on people's, but since I came across yours, I have knttied and 2 cardgines for the first time, you're a good teacher thank you. You explain really well
I am over happy with this tutorial… After 3 weeks I finally finished my FIRST knit ever for my upcoming first baby!! ❤❤❤ Thank you! I must say I had few gaps which I covered with cute embroidery and I also skipped the button holes 😵💫. So I call this project a cardigan 😃But for the second sweater I’ll do them.. Thank you!! I discovered my new passion because I successfully managed to finish my first knot thanks to this video! ❤
You explain things so well but I'm a totally new knitter and I would have loved it if you would have shown us exactly were to put the button holes I know you showed us at the beginning but beginning a complete beginner I still need that step by step visual but thank you any your videos are wonderful
I’m finally in the finishing process so happy. With this video it was exactly what I was looking for, since I’m a visual sweater. Thank you so much for your videos. 😍
No wonder I was having problems making sweaters! I was doing it wrong my goodness. I am going to use your video to make a perfect sweater Thank you for this detailed video
FINALLY! As a beginner level knitter, I’ve tried following a written pattern for a baby cardigan, but needed some help! HOORAY and a gazillion thanks to you for taking the time to make this extremely easy to follow tutorial…I’d love to purchase the written pattern so that I can learn to read a pattern as I follow along with this tutorial. Is it available? 🥰
I enjoyed watching this very much! I would love to see more top-down patterns with decorative patterns similar to the Russian patterns seen on youtube, if that's possible. Thank you! 💖💖
hi thank you so much for this, i would love to make this cardigan but with adult measurements and straight needles but im afraid i’d make some miscalculations..
Hello. Loved the video, so easily explained. Being a fairly new knitter, I am having a bit of difficulty. Hope u dont mind answering my question. I made a blanket from Caron Simply Soft yarn and would like to make a cardigan from the same. As its a worsted weight yarn, can u plz tell me how many stitches I should cast on for 0-3 mths? And should I use 3.5mm circular needles or higher? Thanx
Thank you for the tutorial! I started yesterday but noticed that I somehow have messed up doing an increase and now the holes are uneven. Do you have any tips for correcting yarn over/increase mistakes?
If you want just a basic crochet pattern here’s this one ua-cam.com/video/C4YCFYDliVg/v-deo.html and here’s a knit pattern that can go too ua-cam.com/video/4z6p_GQnetc/v-deo.html
where do you find a 2.5 knitting needle 2.25 2.75 im at a loss, getting frustrated just did crochet project and the border doesnt work out as stated so i go to what i now best and now needle size, not being rude but lol help
I am so excited to get started with this!! Can I just check something please: to create a different size, is it just the needle size that needs to change? Do you need to cast on a different number of stitches, or do anything else different, please? Thank you so much for posting this video!
I started a reply to you and now I am curious to know if you can make any if your baby sweaters in a bigger needles.? I have alot of baby sweaters to make for my new friends ☺
so confused about moving from first sleeve to second I have each end of my circular needles at each side of the first sleeve now i canr=t access the other sleeve
Thank you for this wonderful tutorial. Expecting 1st grandchild in a month and have already more afghans and blankets than will ever be used. I have just one question (thus far). I hold my needles differently with the working yarn in my right hand. At the yo, you say to knit in the front of the yo. Is this a regular knit stitch? Thank you so much!
How many stitches to cast on for Right Front, Left Front, Back and Sleeves. I know knitting but I want to know shaping the baby matinee coat. Please help as I have lost my book. Thank you. Please help me.
I watched most of it but got confused during several parts. I worry that if this is considered beginner I won't be able to find an easier pattern. I am fine knitting things that don't have to fit but this seems like a challenge for me. Also, I don't hold the needles the same was as you so that made it more challenging. Perhaps a written pattern to read along with the video would help.
I've noticed that sometimes you knit through the back loop and other times you knit through the front loop. Is there a reason for this? I have your pattern but don't see this mentioned in the pattern directions.
Here’s what I wrote in the information box THESE SIZES ARE NOT EXACT THEY ARE APROXIMATE SINCE NOT ALL BABIES ARE THE SAME SIZE AND SINCE TENSION WILL VARY FROM ONE PERSON TO ANOTHER 0-3M use 2mm needles with DK, #3 or 8ply yarn 3-6M use 2.5mm needles with DK, #3 or 8ply yarn 6-9M use 3mm needles with DK, #3 or 8ply yarn 9-12M I used 3.5mm needles with DK, #3 or 8ply yarn 1-2yrs use 4mm needles with DK, #3 or 8ply yarn 2-3yrs use 4.5mm needles with DK, #3 or 8ply yarn 3-5yrs use 5mm needles with Aran, #4 or 10ply yarn

You should have said earlier that there was a buttonhole to be made on the 23 row you didn't mention this until the 37 row was completed. As a beginner i need better explanations😢

😅 ok but I’m curious, aren’t there YO’s in your style of knitting? How do you increase and what is it called? By the way, I only have so many characters to use in the title unfortunately so it’s going to be a little hard for you to find knitting videos that say continental tutorial right in the title.

A very nice baby garment. When did people start knitting from the top down. And why would you? Is there an advantage in knitting from the top down?

What would be your suggested row count be for the placement of button holes? I’m following your video for baby size
You can leave about 1.5in to 2 in between buttonholes.
This was/is hardly for beginners. I am my third attempt ... but hoping the final result will be as pretty as yours :)
Good luck 👍
Hello, loving this tutorial . ❤ Can you tell please, why do you increase stitches at the beginning of the arms ? I think I forgot . 🤢😵💫
Thank you for the tutorial! I started yesterday but noticed that I somehow have messed up doing an increase and now the holes are uneven. Do you have any tips for correcting yarn over/increase mistakes?

How long should the sleeves be in total??
You said you would make the arms longer, how many more rows would you add?
Only 6-8 more rows.
You missed row 4 and said 5th row twice, so I need having increase on the wrong side. Had to undo 4 times. 😭

Please how much wool we have
How many stitches to cast on for Right Front, Left Front, Back and Sleeves.
I know knitting but I want to know shaping the baby matinee coat. Please help as I have lost my book. Thank you. Please help me.
It’s a top down. I’d recommend watching the whole video before starting.
when doing up the decorative front you do every other hole but it looks like you do every stitch round the neck am i right in thinking this
Yes just make sure you don’t decrease around the neckline
If I want to make this pattern for a 1 n half year baby, how much stitches I should cast on.
Look in the information box for the different sizes
What length circular needles should I use?
You can use 32in or 48in

Why do you hold your working yarn in the left side hand ?, it’s confusing to see the yarn overs and how to knit them ?
Hi, your tutorials are great! Please can you answer a question....I don't have dpn's, can I not just use a piece of yarn? X

I have a question. I am using 3.25mm needles and 4ply yarn. Trying to make for 6-9 month baby girl. Is this going to be to small?
Yes it’s going to be a little smaller because of the thinner yarn but not by much. Perhaps you can use two strands.
