    Just used mine for the first time today. I got it, not necessarily to "fix" my swing, but to define it with numbers that I can own and duplicate in practice. I like that you can set a range of say 5 degrees for each parameter and target those numbers instead of just the suggested ones. Hopefully this makes my natural tendancies more refined and predictable with reps. I also have access to a great simulator for the data it provides and have been using it for about a year and a half. These combined technologies was great for practice today and I plan to use it to assess and maintain as time goes on.. we'll see.

    Excellent review, really interesting product. I think if you're a disciplined golfer you can improve your game with it no matter what handicap.

    Is this the type of device that would be beneficial if you hit balls into a net. Or do you really need to see the ball flight. I live in a rural area and don’t have driving range nearby.

      I think being able to see the ball flight is ideal but if you hit into a net, you will still get an idea of the contact and where your ball starts.

    I’d like to see how it helps tighten face to path or face to target tolerances on the launch monitor

    Since version 1, I'd be curious to see an actual hard core user explaining how it improved his game or if it stayed in the bag after few sessions... How big is the potential improvement the wrist angle has vs all the different parameters in a glof swing?

      It’s all connected so any improvement in one area should improve the rest. Bow your wrist at the top and the try to come over the top. It can be done buts it’s awkward af. How long it stays used and in the bag is my concern. Not saying it’s going to happen to me but let’s say you buy it and the first time using it everything is green. If all you get is wrist data and you’re good already, why would you keep using it? It’s a one trick device that’s really good at what it does but that’s it. Its needs compatibility with launch monitors or another schtick to keep it relevant imo

    If they can add compatibility with launch monitors this thing would be a must have. Club, ball and wrist data? Only thing left would be full body tracking. Which somebody could prob do with an iPhone camera or 2 🤔

      That would be sick actually.

      I know this is not what you are referring to but I use my HM with my launch monitor. It really helps to hear the 'positive' ting sound when you hit within the HM parameters and look up to see the result on the screen. Incidentally, it also helps to see the near misses that get the red miss icon and to see that they are still a 'good' shot in terms of direction, distance and ball flight. We don't have to be perfect every time!!! :)

      @@PauloG100 that sounds extremely useful already. I’m just spoiled with technology nowadays. I want it all in one place. I’m sure they could add Bluetooth/wifi connectivity direct to a GCquad or trackman. Add a little bit of code in their apps to display the data. Those launch monitors are well out of my price range but it would be a start …and then hopefully it would trickle down to the sub $5k LM’s.
      Hack Motion paired with a Mevo+ isn’t cheap but would be a fantastic borderline pro product within reach of some of us amateurs.

    At $400 CND this is way over priced. You can use a coat hanger to do the same thing really. Thanks for the video.

      In comparison to a coat hanger, it’s underpriced lol. The analytical data is through the roof.

    It is cool they gave you that but real golfers i dont think they will use it

    • @NewNineGolf
      @NewNineGolf  2 місяці тому

      I dont think its a real vs casual golfer thing. I know single digit caps that use it and others that wont touch training aid no matter what. Its a tool like anything else, If you are analytical and love to practice and stick with it, this will help. But ya, alot of people will probably use it a couple times and not use it again. But i think thats the like any other training aid.

      Yes, of course, muscles don't have memory, but, your brain does and if you hit enough shots with positive confirmation from the device your brain will make sure your muscles replicate that position and therefore the shot. I think we all know what the term muscle memory refers to.
