I didnt know that but I don't understand why they just don't lay it on it's side, gotta find a smooth level surface to use the center stand if changing a wheel
@@bullpencycles they do it in the impound area at the end of each day and they can do pads and shoes etc all right there they have 15 minutes in the evening 15 minutes in the moring to work on the bike all work must be done by themselves with the tools they carry
I remember these beauty Italian bikes that were used in enduro,s in Australia they were trick looking bikes back then and this motocrosser looked great back then I would have loved to own these beautifull beasts of glory

Old men & big bores 😂 My Maico 490 gives me the 💩 when starting. Add to that on walking stick today as genny shoveled backfired & soft side boot. 🤬 Look foward to swap meet. 👍
The center stand is for changing tires quickly during the ISDT

I love watching you kickstart that beast. I so want to hop on that thing after your final thrust on the kicker fires that 440 up.
Reminds me A LOT of my Can Am 400.
Yeah, the orange and the rotax. I can see that
Awesome machine! Hope you checked the air box ? I had a 320 trials in the mid 90s and traded it for a lawnmower ! I know
You know, that's true! Gotta check the airboxes which tend to hold water. Is that what happened with yours?
Hey I bet there;'s good chance you knew my buddy Colin that made gaskets for Bultaco etc. for many years. He had a great collection.
I dont think so, but thanks for checking in.

Yeah, I found a guy that actually raced a 440! Amazing!
Cool bike, that's one I had not heard of. Did they have a US distributor and a dealer network?
Back then, I'm sure someone brought them in but I dont know who or when. There were so many niche brands.
I dont imagine they sold too many back in the 70s and 80s in the US but ever since the 2014 Ressurgence, I believe they do.
Hi Dave
I thought swm didnt have carburetor when i was younger my friend had one.
Hmm, I dont know of any bike without a carburetor unless its fuel injected, but sometimes the carburetor is hiding under a crankcase cover

Yeah, I'm thinking that, but I just spoke with a fellow that actually raced one! Amazing!
