ProgPower is a single stage festival over 4 days with only 23 bands split over the days at 5/6/6/6. Lovebites will be the 5th band to play on day 3, right after Soen (one of my favorite bands) and right before the day's final band, Amorphis. The venue is indoors with a capacity of just over 1,000 with 700 of those in stadium seating. Tickets for days 3 and 4 were sold as a package and were sold out in less than 48 hours (probably close to 30 hours). Tickets are still available for days 1 and 2. I have tickets for days, 2, 3 and 4 and I am driving over 1000 miles from Texas to Atlanta. Lovebites are scheduled for a 90 minute set. I am hoping they can squeeze in 14 songs, which is still 4 or 5 songs less than they usually play. If they end with We The United, which is normally their last song, this old guy is going to get very, very misty eyed. My prediction is that Lovebites starts a US tour after Progpower that ends at Aftershock. They could play 15 shows, traveling from the east coast to the west coast. One thing that could change my prediction is that Iron Maiden is playing 5 shows in Japan during the last week of September. The opening band for Iron Maiden at the Japan shows has not been announced. Lovebites has to be one of the bands being considered. I hope Iron Maiden picks them. Lovebites could then return to the US beginning with Aftershock and start a tour. They could conceivably open a few shows for Iron Maiden in North America during October and early November. I am seeing Iron Maiden in Fort Worth and would love to see Lovebites open for them.

This was, and usually is their final song of their encore (or one of their last). They usually play this or Under the Red Sky as their final song. The concert they stremed in the end of last september they played a tripple encore, where they ended with this and Under the Red Sky, which the usually don't. The are co-headlining Prog Power in Atlanta in September, and it is common knowledge that the Day 3/4 tickets sold out in hours mainly because of Lovebites.
Prog Power tickets sold out in 2 days (For the day that Lovebites is appearing) - probably from all the Lovebites fans buying them up. I bought mine the moment they went on sale. I'll have to drive about 14 hours to get there.
@@danw6048 Yes. The Maidiacs have done a great job of organizing fan get togethers for Band-maid tours. We should be able to do something. Capacity of the venue is about 1000, and my guess is at least half the people there will be there for Lovebites, so a well-organized gathering could be pretty sizable.

Forget about filling a stadium... I want to see them at River Plate, Argentina or in Brazil. They would end up registering on the earthquake scale before they were done and those insane jumping crowds along with these insanely talented musicians would make for an epic show!!! Hard to believe they were on hiatus for 2 years finding Fami, they were so tight and with a new member. They are the very definition of relentlessly chasing perfection. Poor Harune, she still has to convince people she is not an android....LOL. BTW great reaction as always and Jason's smile almost matched Fami's during this performance.

Lovebites had 49k monthly listeners when Judgement Day released, and they suffer from not having released music in a year, but they do have 61k followers, but they should have a lot more listeners. Hopefully their World Tour will give them their big break. They are playing on the mainstage on Hellfest (probably very early in the day), and they sold out almost their London concert right away. They day that Lovebites performs on Prog Power got sold out very fast. The first day they got sold out, and they are the main headliner that day.

I agree it's odd and verging on criminal that they aren't bigger than they are, but maybe metalheads use Spotify less? They maybe buy albums instead? I don't know but I feel quite certain that all the reactors on UA-cam are playing a huge part in marketing the band and this summer they're doing some gigs in Europe and US. Hopefully people will finally discover them and they will get their spot. They should headline festivals and their own Arenas, at least in Europe where we seem to have more large venues for metal. But you are doing good work promoting them to your viewers and so are many others. Keep it up, gentlemen.

Lovebites is, the way I see it, the ideal of women for metalheads. Come on. Metal Valkyries dressed in white and gold singing about unity, valor and perseverance. I'm not even mentioning how gorgeous they are. They sing and play like the legends of the old: no place for posers or faking. Either you can or can't. And they can, and do, and will. I think that the fact that they are not so well known is because their appearances outside of Japan are minimal........about 30 appearances outside of Japan in 8 years is not a lot.........and none in the last 3-4 years... .......if they supported a group like Sabaton and played for 4-5 thousand every night at Europe and America it would be good........but who am i to say what they will do........
Agreed, they've been kept in Japan although they focused to the international market from the beginning by writing lyrics in English. It's just a poor promotion of Victor Entertainment.

Lovebites had 49k monthly listeners when Judgement Day released, and they suffer from not having released music in a year, but they do have 61k followers, but they should have a lot more listeners.
Hopefully their World Tour will give them their big break. They are playing on the mainstage on Hellfest (probably very early in the day), and they sold out almost their London concert right away.
They day that Lovebites performs on Prog Power got sold out very fast. The first day they got sold out, and they are the main headliner that day.
Clockwork Immortality is my #1 Lovebites album...all fantastic songs!

I was there at the rail between Asami and Fami. They created a sense of togetherness at the end with their song selection. It was so awesome and amazing! 🤘
I agree it's odd and verging on criminal that they aren't bigger than they are, but maybe metalheads use Spotify less? They maybe buy albums instead? I don't know but I feel quite certain that all the reactors on UA-cam are playing a huge part in marketing the band and this summer they're doing some gigs in Europe and US. Hopefully people will finally discover them and they will get their spot. They should headline festivals and their own Arenas, at least in Europe where we seem to have more large venues for metal. But you are doing good work promoting them to your viewers and so are many others. Keep it up, gentlemen.

Come on. Metal Valkyries dressed in white and gold singing about unity, valor and perseverance. I'm not even mentioning how gorgeous they are. They sing and play like the legends of the old: no place for posers or faking. Either you can or can't. And they can, and do, and will.

I think that the fact that they are not so well known is because their appearances outside of Japan are minimal........about 30 appearances outside of Japan in 8 years is not a lot.........and none in the last 3-4 years... .......if they supported a group like Sabaton and played for 4-5 thousand every night at Europe and America it would be good........but who am i to say what they will do........
Agreed, they've been kept in Japan although they focused to the international market from the beginning by writing lyrics in English. It's just a poor promotion of Victor Entertainment.
