When I first purchased the Isuzu I had to get a filter from an alternative dealer to the one I purchased from. As I chatted to the gentleman in the parts department and said I had just purchased a brand new Isuzu NPR truck he said “ WE ARE GOING TO BE SEEING A-LOT OF YOU ha ha” I shrugged it off, but boy he was not joking. So no you can take it from me, in my personal experience (they’re ) CRAP.

Ok, I bought a brand new Isuzu NPR HD box van in 2014 here in Canada. It’s been an absolute nightmare for me over the last 6 years. Here are just a few of the problems. At 125,000 kilometres had to have a brand new exhaust system fitted. Then a brand new Engine. Yes a brand new engine. NOx sensor replacement. Excessive corrosion from day one. Electrical issues. And many many more other issues, too many to list here. I have had so many fights with Isuzu over warranty I am at my wit’s end. My advice is, don’t buy one, simple. This is just my experience, you may be luck and get one that’s ok.

It still sounds as if your truck is more reliable and trustworthy than your Prime Minister.
Also some problems due to truck body builders mistake/error.
Maybe your engine is not isuzu. because 4JJ1 is an amazing piece of art.
