- Hey guys! I have recently been getting a TON of questions about this, so today we're going to take a look at window coverings. I am going to take you through our previous home and the renovation home and show you all of our treatments, give you some window styling tips and show you how to decorate your windows on a budget! I am going to cover everything from blinds and shades to curtains and curtain rods....if it goes on a window, I'm going to be talking about it!! :)

I especially love that you spoke about the light gap and offered an alternative solution (with footage!) no one ever talks about that and the fact that you did just speaks volumes about how you truly care about both form and function and not just if a design element looks “instagrammable”
I used a modern curtain track with pleated linen curtains on my slider. I like that it can go one way or split in the middle. I didn’t want to have to keep it I’m on either side.

You are a very charming person :). My tip for good price of window coverings would be Dako, they are from Poland so they are pretty cheap compared to some of the other brands.
Can you post a similar rod and rings..I think your links might have been too bb& b which is gone now! Love you vibe in your old bedroom ❤❤❤

I learned some of these lessons the hard way! Cant say enough goods this about select blinds. I’ve used them for several rooms in my house. This was a great video and I’ll be using these tips in my next home.

Love your style, thanks for sharing. What’s a good rule of thumb if whether a room calls for curtains or not? We have white wood blinds in our family soon and I’m contemplating removing the curtains entirely when we paint. But I’m worried white-ish walls and white blinds will be too plain.

Would you recommend shutters or smart window shades
It looks like you pair curtains and shades together in certain spaces. I have living room windows that are west facing and get a lot sun.
I'm thinking light filtering cellular shades and blackout curtains for those hot summer days (SF Bay Area). What do you think is a good pairing?

We built our house 16 years ago and I’m still paralyzed on picking out window treatments. What do you suggest that will be timeless because the Lord knows I won’t replace them for another 16 or more years!
