I can completely hear how much time and work went into lipstick on the glass, its so incredibly intricate and massive
Its a masterpiece ..
Totally, it’s my fav off the album along with delicious things but lipstick is so special
Ellie’s got that same fly that Walter white couldn’t ignore in her room see her eyes following it

A tip of the hat to the interviewer. A brilliant interview ahead of listening to an amazing band. Thanks again for all the foundational make up of this exciting album.
It's somehow comforting to know that while the pandemic was going on Wolf Alice were slowly crafting this masterpiece.
So happy that Lipstick On The Glass turned out as it did, it gives me full body chills in the best way!
It's amazing
It’s an incredible song ❤️
This song helped me through a rough break up! :)
Obsessed with these guys. Loved hearing about their process. This album is a masterpiece.
@@MusicManEastNashville (me too )I’m 55 these Younghans are incredibly unique and incredibly talented incredibly sweet cool and just all sorts of goodness radiates from them! I can’t get enough these kids are special👏👏👏
Interviewer was perfection in this, fantastic hosting. Super insightful interview, thank you all! (Beautiful album too, loving it so far)
Lipstick On The Glass is my fave track off this album - I really hope it's a direction they pursue further.
This album is incredible. It will remain timeless
I'm so in love with Ellie Roswell. She has an amazing voice.
What a fantastic interview, so detailed and a real rapport. Lovely to see them more relaxed and into it than in some of the interviews with less experienced interviewers and hosts.
Album of the year genre defying
This new album is the best thing to come out of 2020/21 (and 2022 apparently 😃 )
Best band around atm no doubt about it! Also Theo wearing a Siouxsie and the banshees tee makes me very happy. I heard a bit of the banshees on their last record, the guitar on a few tracks was giving me A Kiss in the Dreamhouse vibes
Loved this and for once an interviewer who has researched his material. What a band. X
Joff was so talktive ❤️
I'm in love for this album! 💙
Amazing album. Congratulations, guys! 👏👏
after listening to the album i thought "play the greatest hits" would be a shout out to wolf alice fans that like their harder edge. like me...its my favorite track but there are mellow songs thru out their catalog that i love...but i just prefer the energy tracks..in any band.
I’m the same until I heard the beach then I feel utterly in love with the mellow songs. But don’t get me wrong I will be in that crowd at their concert starting mosh pits to ptgh and smile🤎
@@Cupidssatan i have not given this album a chance i must admit. i just listen to smile and play the greatest. it took me a while to warm up to their last LP...maybe im just into other bands now. it happens..wolf alice was my favorite about 5 years ago but band crushes are fleeting in my case. there are so many awesome bands out there. Wolf Alice is great live tho. i hope you have fun
I'm absolutely obsessed with the beach II! It bums me out it couldn't be any longer :( I was really hoping they would close out their album with another 8 minute jam session like their previous one
The power that Feeling myself holds sonically.. and all the interviewer could come up with was billie eilish. It wouldn't even be that awkward but that's not the reference here. More like mica levi/portishead/grimes -nightmusic/lana - ultraviolence and many other awesome sub influences.
Yeah I thought the same. Weirdly gives me Florence + the machine vibes too, I feel they could collab and create a masterpiece.
@@Cupidssatan they have the same producer I believe
Agreed.
He’s not doing this album justice at all and sounds like he’s rushed listening to it in a taxi on his way to the studio.
Smile is groovy and gets me drawn in. Last Man On Earth, the said "Beatles sounding" part shows the diversity of this group.
Really really loved this interview, they were really drawn into talking into the craft
What my favorite young rockers are back they got a new album for real 👏oh I love these kids so much they make my heart really warm y’all are precious Younghans all grown up now 💝💝💝
They’re just brilliant. Wow.
I didn’t know Christoph Waltz was in radio
Such a brilliant album. I love this band so much.
Such a great interview!!
Love this album so much, just paid wayyyyy over the odds for a ticket at the Bristol O2 🤔 it’s only money, can’t wait 😁
I don't remember which song I listened from them the first time. This album is a masterpiece. There are several ways to get it for free but I am convinced they deserve to get an income from it so I must buy it on the merch. You should too
Love this band and I’m absolutely mesmerised by Ellie.
No hard feelings is saaaaaaad 😭 not meant to sound like Alan Partridge there.
🐺💃💙
not joff thinking mbv are like the only shoegaze band 😭
Slowdrive, Ride, Stumbleine...... :)
Love these guys....her voice is amazing ❤😇✌👍👌
the album keeps getting better each listen
Wool Phallus! I love how the automatic subtitling
Cocteau twins man come on... Although mbv is certainly more shoegazy
Stunning piece of work. ❤ this album.
They should try listening to some kanye west
This album is a work of art.
A masterpiece.
Spectacular album man. Markus working his magic as usual. Next level man.
great interview and what an amazing album
Great album love it !👏👏 please don't mention your political views as it will come back to bite you ,as your eyes are opened wider😉 fantastic combination of talent ❤️
I love the evolution of the person as each song passes. Feeling myself, Lipstick on the Glass & Last Man on Earth. Gives hope. One of my favorite bands around!
Love Ellie so much❤️ Her voice is so versatile. From quite sweet through rock and punk. I love it when she shouts and screams, all that and she plays guitar too. Brilliant band, lots of ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Lovely interview! Great work by that John (F) Kennedy 😎
Still my favourite record of 2021😍😍
Just another unbelievable album. Best band out there now by a country mile
Still listening to this album daily
I saw them in April of 2018, in Boston @ Paradise Rock Club. A small venue of 300 center stage. Since then ❤️🌍
The album is a masterpiece.
I LOVE THIS BAND!!
What are y’all talking about I didn’t hear them play any music on this interview
Because it’s just the interview they played the songs when it was live on air o radio x
Choir of Joels Mellotron patch coming to a sampler near you..
Most talented group of musician's since Foo Fighters.
Wool Phallus?
It's all I can hear
It was the way that DJ bloke was saying it. He started off with Wilf Felice & then settled on Wool Phallus. 😂
Ellie is only looking up! She's pretty shy i guess.....
I think she has anxiety, maybe social anxiety. I’ve noticed it in a few interviews I’ve watched. But to be honest she might just not like interviews.
They say that people move their eyes up when trying to remember.
And I do it myself!
Give her a microphone and a guitar and she is totally transformed and just slays it!
Too sweet, Ellie is too shy to look into the camera when she is talking 💛
Surprised but so happy to hear that these guys are Trump supporters! Who would have guessed. Somebody should tell Ellie that the camera's not on the ceiling.
*aren't* Trump supporters
I love Joel's voice
kinda thought the how can i make it okay?/fleetwood mac vibes is because it has the same chord structure as dreams in the main part. thought it was really cool :)
Same for me. The first time I've listen the song I scream in my mind: "hey! this is Fleetwood Mac!"
