@@bobsterclause342 the HMS Warspite was a Queen Elizabeth class battleship that took part in both world wars, took a hell of a beating at Jutland (WW1) and survived, and in WW2 took a lot more damage and never sunk. The channel Drachinifel does a really good quick history of the ship.
@@windaddyflex it's also worth noting Warspite had a habit of losing steering mid battle, which caused it to on several occasions move into positions to protect other ships by taking a beating meant for them, or let her gain tactical advantages. Could argue she was like the Tardis, she didn't always take you were you wanted to go, but always took you were you needed to go. As for damage taken, she also took the first ever hit from a guided missile, shrugged it off, and went back into action. And when she was finally decommissioned and sent for scrapping (the biggest travesty in royal navy history) she was having none of it, broke her tow lines, ran aground, and when they tried to refloat her, beat up several commercial tugs with her pure mass, nearly sinking them. In the end she was the largest maritime salvage operation in British waters ever.
@@cgi2002If I remember correctly, the rudder problems were from a hit taken at Jutland, she was definitely a tough old ship. Not to mention she obliterated several German destroyers after dodging torpedos at point black range, and snuck up to an Italian battle group and blew the hull out of several cruisers. And had the longest recorded naval shell hit in history on an Italian battleship. I forget which one

Leave it to the JDF to make an antimatter powered gamma or X-ray laser. And then go "well it one shots anything so..."
As a naval history enthusiast, it's fitting that any ship called the Warspite should shrug off damage and keep fighting.
Please ellaborate.

I was thinking the same thing. I'll never stop being angry at the English for scrapping her.

The JDF Saitama has to live up to the name, it'd be an utter disappointment, otherwise.

What us jdf?
@@gmailquinn Probably short for Japanese Defence Force...
In the second story when the Human ship attacked and he described the damage, my first thought was "Well Damn".
Ah yes. HMS Warspite. The Grand Old Lady herself.
What a majestic piece of naval engineering. A damn shame what they did to Her.
Laughs in American ship Museums we have one similar

One punch. Should have known what to expect. Put a smile on my face at the end.
story 1. Humans. Damage control experts.
story 2. of course the Japanese would do something like this.
I had fun writing it
:)
Good man
When I heard that the ship was yellow... well, after they mentioned it was the JDF Saitama, my laughter was heard two apartments around.
I guess the JDF has space ships now ha.

Japanese Defense Force!
"Red and Yellow kills a fellow, while Red and Black saves Jack."
My question is: Was the red touching the black or the yellow?
only one blast? not again... :-[
:(
What does the JDF pull out when there is a real threat?
What would there be to be classified a real threat?
