Epic TOPWATER BLOWUPS on the RIVER! (Musky & Bass)

I go kayak fishing on a local river. We are throwing whopper poppers and jerk baits and get on quite a few nice fishing including bass and musky!

30# power pro w/ 8# diameter should be perfect for that

I know right where you were. That spillway gets loaded with rock bass in late September, early October.

Don’t need a leader just need to run heavier braid landed most of mine on 30 lb braid.
Also all the smallies will still hit on braid.
