No matter what the situation is in kwara. The state belongs to the Yoruba's. The Fulani's are foreigners in kwara, they use to wandering about. Afonja invited them for assistance, and they deceitfully took over from him. There might be 2 or 3:tribes there, that doesn't mean anything, the land belongs to Yoruba's. Yoruba have the highest population in kwara, while the Fulani's only occupied Ilorin. Geographically, Kwara might be central in Nigeria according to the land surveillance, that must not clinch the Kwara to the northern States. Fulani's are from real part of northern States, they known the number of States they crossed before getting to Ilorin. I was born in kwara, at Ofa Local Govt. Under the unity of Nigeria, any tribe can move from their state and settled at another state that belongs another people, that doesn't given them the indigenous right to the land. Kwara belongs the Yoruba's.
Been Ruled by Emir dosen't mean the whole kwara is a northern state their are many local governments in kwara been rule by Obas whom are Yorubas Out of 16 Local Governments Area in Kwara state about 11 or 12 are Purely Yorubas while the rest are either Fulani Baruba and Nupe.
Yes kwara as it is formally called ipinle kwara, it own by yoruba..but the always prefer to be address as Northerners..and many of them dont support oduduwa, and in addition, they are not part of afenifere

You talk rubbish!!! Go to Ilorin and pls go to Emir's palace and hear the language speaking there. And for your information Lagos is not lost to the Igbos. And by the way, why can't you leave Yorba alone and mind your own tribe aspirations.

I'm from Offa Local governments one of the Yoruba speaking LGA in kwara been rule by OBA
The reason why they have Emir is because the King happened to be a Muslin, and wanted to be affiliated with the religion.
