Nigerians are fun to be with. I also find that they can be very critical of little things that they find or are done in other countries that they don't do or they don't have in Nigeria. They're shocked at little things. They cannot expect things in other countries to be the same as Nigeria.

Our local college has a large amount of exchange students. The Nigerian students came to our church. They are the most respectful, honest, loyal, kind, and their attitudes and faith in God is the strongest I ever met. THEY CHANGED MY LIFE!!! May God bless them as they have blessed me.👐👐👐💞💞💞💞

Yoruba are most welcoming people you can ever think of rich culture,rich language, most brilliant among the ethnic group don't believe me make your research ,most civilized, they cut across other country like ,Togo Benin, serialoen ,ivory cost, Cuba, Brazil,trinidad and tobago,argentina, etc they don't throw away their culture and language well mannered ,they are in the southwest region of Nigeria,they in so many field all over the world
My niece and i met a Nigerian man in a western Country ,and the Nigerian asked my niece if was from a certain tribe in Nigeria (based on her appearance ).Then i realized that i am certainly rooted in Nigeria.
My ancestors may be from Ghana, but my life is steeped in all things Nigerian. Just by working with them I learned pidgin like they speak it. I eat all things Nigerian. I watch all Nollywood movies, lol it is not easy getting away from Naija oooo.
I love Nigerian people' their culture n tradition. I m a big fan of Afrobeats. I like watching Nigerian movies. They have the best Artists in the world. Oh hw can I forget the food ooo... It's mouth watering, my kids favourite Jollof rice. We eat mostly in Nigerian restaurants. I can't wait to marry a Nigerian by God's grace as I m Indian from Goa state. Heard lots about Nigeria from my church friends n fell in love with 9ja. It's a blessed Country,Can't wait to visit Nigeria soon by God's grace. More love n prayers to Nigerians. Hi, there are three (3) religions in Nigeria, Christianity, Islam and Idol worshipping. As a Nigerian who grew up in Warri, Idol worshipping is a huge part of the culture and is greatly celebrated and respected just as Christianity and Islam. Thank you :)

I recently learned of my Nigerian ancestry; 35% mixed with Yoruba and Esan tribes. I always loved the rich history of Nigeria. I watched Nollywood movies and listened to afrobeat before learning about my ancestry. It's in the blood. Now I need to get a taste of that good food! Lol
I am taking a course on African history this semester. This was a great watch for a more realistic perspective of Nigeria. Sometimes in the West we get kind of a different image of the country than it actually is, just highly urbanized and quite similar to most cities here. Great watch!
These are only the popular tribes , there are over 250 tribes in nigeria and over 500 languages . Northern nigeria probably has over 100 tribes including Hausa and Fulani , same as the other regions
It’s true you mostly only hear bad things about Nigerians here in the USA. I wrote and erased what I’ve experienced with them. It’s not fair to clump a whole country of people together. With that being said I pray, pray, pray, Gambians and people from Ghana are openly nice and easy to get along with.

Nigeria has about 500 languages and ethnic groups and there are 3 religions- Christians, Muslims and traditional religions. There are Muslims in the south too esp South West area among some Yorubas- there are Christians also in the North particularly among the indigenous people who lived in the region before the jihad by Uthman Dan Fodio, a Fulani from Futa Djalon in the 19th century who converted a lot of the people by force to Islam. Oh my goodness! So many people... I wanted to go to Africa after my friend said I looked like the Ethiopian people. He had a fit when he came home. He was so excited. He said I would blend right in and that they look like me. He told me that I would have to visit there. I had an African male patient. He kept staring like right through me. I was so nervous and scared. I looked at his wife (I think).His wife smile so I smiled back. The other male was staring at me too. He eventually asked me where I was from? I said here (meaning America). Then he stared at me more like the patient. They all stared like me like so hard. I didn't know what to do or say. He asked me again where I was from. I said America. I ran out the room. I believe my Mom said my father's people were slaves from Africa but don't quote me. I have no idea?? I really wanted to see Africa after I went to Japan. I was like how can all the people look alike? Don't laugh at me! I was silly. I had no concept of things. In America, its so many ethnic groups. I had never seen people of all one race in the same place. I know its silly of me. I came home. I was like I want to go and see where there are all "black" people. I know they are insulted to be called black but my skin color or close to it people. I am mixed up. My great grandmother was a white lady. Her father was a Caucasian preacher. He married my Great great grandmother who was from India. The great grandfather was Blackfoot Indian. One of my Great granddaddies was an Indian chief. I forgot how many greats? We have some Cherokee too. My Mom told me. I am not sure about my father's side of family. Just that little bit of what my Mom told me?? Life is interesting... God is good all the time!! 😄

You being from the kanuri in your ancestry DNA , then i will suggest you visit Borno State in Nigeria , that's were you will find large number of kanuri tribes. They are one of the most civilized tribes , they are in possession of the most beautiful women in Nigeria. 😊

The Igbos are from South East, Yorubas are South West, Niger Deltans are from South South, while Hausa/Fulani are from Northern Part of Nigeria. Nigeria has over 500 tribes.

3:01 The northern part of Nigeria is much more diverse than that . Even though the larger percentage are Muslim, there is also a large percentage of Christian’s . States like Kaduna state which is one of the largest in the north is split about 50/50 between Christian’s and Muslims , same as Adamawa , Taraba , and states like Gombe , etc have large percentage of Christian’s even though Muslims might be more . So it’s not what it seems like and also if you will add the middle belt / north central including Jos , Benue , Nasarawa then you will find that the North is the most diverse part of Nigeria

Yoruba = Western Nigeria

Nigeria has about 500 languages and ethnic groups and there are 3 religions- Christians, Muslims and traditional religions. There are Muslims in the south too esp South West area among some Yorubas-
there are Christians also in the North particularly among the indigenous people who lived in the region before the jihad by Uthman Dan Fodio, a Fulani from Futa Djalon in the 19th century who converted a lot of the people by force to Islam.

Nigerians are nice and peaceful most of them we have lots of Nigeria's in Gambia but Ghana's are the best no offence hope to visit Nigeria one day.

Oh my goodness! So many people... I wanted to go to Africa after my friend said I looked like the Ethiopian people. He had a fit when he came home. He was so excited. He said I would blend right in and that they look like me. He told me that I would have to visit there.
I had an African male patient. He kept staring like right through me. I was so nervous and scared. I looked at his wife (I think).His wife smile so I smiled back. The other male was staring at me too. He eventually asked me where I was from? I said here (meaning America). Then he stared at me more like the patient. They all stared like me like so hard. I didn't know what to do or say. He asked me again where I was from. I said America. I ran out the room.
I believe my Mom said my father's people were slaves from Africa but don't quote me. I have no idea?? I really wanted to see Africa after I went to Japan.
I was like how can all the people look alike? Don't laugh at me! I was silly. I had no concept of things. In America, its so many ethnic groups. I had never seen people of all one race in the same place. I know its silly of me.
I came home. I was like I want to go and see where there are all "black" people. I know they are insulted to be called black but my skin color or close to it people.
I am mixed up. My great grandmother was a white lady. Her father was a Caucasian preacher. He married my Great great grandmother who was from India. The great grandfather was Blackfoot Indian. One of my Great granddaddies was an Indian chief. I forgot how many greats? We have some Cherokee too. My Mom told me.

You being from the kanuri in your ancestry DNA , then i will suggest you visit Borno State in Nigeria , that's were you will find large number of kanuri tribes. They are one of the most civilized tribes , they are in possession of the most beautiful women in Nigeria. 😊

3:01 The northern part of Nigeria is much more diverse than that . Even though the larger percentage are Muslim, there is also a large percentage of Christian’s . States like Kaduna state which is one of the largest in the north is split about 50/50 between Christian’s and Muslims , same as Adamawa , Taraba , and states like Gombe , etc have large percentage of Christian’s even though Muslims might be more . So it’s not what it seems like and also if you will add the middle belt / north central including Jos , Benue , Nasarawa then you will find that the North is the most diverse part of Nigeria
