- Ogun State is the home of the brave, famous achievers that have contributed to the betterment of Nigeria. The state has a high concentration of industrial estates and is considered as the major manufacturing hub in Nigeria. The biggest industrial set up in Nigeria today is Ogun State. Apart from Lagos that has Ilupeju, Apapa and Ikeja industrial estates, Ogun is the largest industrial location in the country.
The Ota Industrial Estate is bigger than all the ones in Lagos State together, not to talk of many others that are springing up.
It's an important state in Nigeria with a rich history and culture.

Ogun state contains the last surviving elephants in the South West. Sadly this small herd are endangered due to encroachment and habitat destruction. Sigh...
This is sad, we should lead a campaign against encroachment.
