Dante apologized to Robin for how he spoke to her earlier in a previous scene. They basically confessed their love for one another and it seems like they will see if they can make a relationship work.

Wow! I thought last night was the season finale. Thank God it wasn't. I was sorely disappointed. The Queen didn't need to kiss that guy - not after those harsh words of his. Please keep it real. The last thing a woman would do would be to kiss someone who could cut you deep with their words. Please don't make the Queen over! She's fine the way she is. I didn't like that her daughter and Auntie didn't contact her with that scary intruder. That was so unsettling and perfect for the Queen to rescue that girl and get some help for her mother. Finally, how could you make such a perfect couple part under such unloving circumstances. The man told his wife where he was going. How come that wasn't enough? He didn't lie to her, and he told her more than he was allowed to... Please make things right! I LOVE, Love, Love this show! It's my absolute favorite!

No character analysis; no plot analysis, etc. In case you thought my comment was for you, it was not. Pick on someone shorter with less confidence to attack. That would not be me. When I speak, people listen. I've watched all of the episodes. I love Queen Latifah. I love her work ethic. She's a perfectionist, and more importantly, she can take constructive criticism. You need to stay in your lane with the tennyboppers. Inferior people feel threatened when other people give their point of view. Right. That's not a question.🙄

@BongiRami , a little fight???? They, the writers deliberately had him say words to her that crossed the line so that they could revisit the issue. Queen Latifah is not a punk. No woman needs to be a punk to be in love. The character's criticism of another character for actions beyond her control was over-the-top... for a reason that will be re-visted. In a fair fight between lovers, you can't tell the person you should have never trusted them - especially when they've saved your life. Hello, anybody. She has saved his life in previous episodes. The writers had already hinted at why these two characters could not be together in the episode before this one with something Robyn had said to her aunt about her job/career. It was true. It's the hard truth that both men and women have to accept with their career choices. Watch the ending again of the episode before this one. Just the ending... The writers gave a perfectly plausible reason why Marcus and Robyn couldn't be together. This last episode deviated from that and added unnecessary ugliness of words between the characters to solidify the conclusion Robyn had already reached in the episode before. There doesn't always have to be a dramatic break or a disrespectful exchange between characters to make a point. If one is committed to their career, their purpose in life, their family, that, oftentimes has to be enough. With a teenage daughter, an aunt who is covering you, and a demanding lifestyle - not to mention an ex-husband on a mission, why does Robyn need an entanglement with a COP, of all people??? Sure, he's been on board with some of the Equalizer's less than conventional tactics, but COPS oftentimes revert to their code. Surely, the writers have to have that fact firmly in mind in the same way as they do the ex-husband and his hippocratic oath. There's just quite a lot of moving parts.

First of all, ratings have nothing to do with how many episodes networks give there shows. second of all Hollywood went on strike for 9 months so literally every show this season of television has 10-14 episodes !

Short season is due because of the Writer and Actor Strike that took placed from May-November 2023 ratings don't always have sum to for with short season. Including law and order and SVU for short because of the strikes each show this year had between 10-14 episodes instead of 18-22 episode season
All network shows had shortened seasons due to the WGA & SAG-AFTRA strikes from last year. Since the writers' strike was over in September 2023 & the actors' strike was over in November 2023, new episodes of any show weren’t even filmed until the week before Thanksgiving last year. The Equalizer started shooting in December 2023.
