I feel like daryl was perfect for the whisperer arc. I dont know how to explain it but he had that grittiness and skills to understand how the whisperers move
You echo my sentiments, there’s just something about Daryl filling in that “Rick leadership” role that doesn’t sit right with me, it only fits better that Rick should’ve been apart of the S10 Whisperer arc, the reason why all the communities were not united is because Rick’s leadership was greatly needed, a shame that we couldn’t have him in there. Daryl did great but like you said, he is no Rick.
@@nurbmanjones1709it always felt weird to me bc daryl's character isn't built to be the main leader, he's way better as a right hand man. every event after rick's departure felt kinda forced imo

How did Alpha get into Alexandria if the events of 9x5 didn't cause the communities to drift apart? The whole reason Alpha could get in and kidnap people was because nobody realized she was a stranger
I think rick definitely would've killed dante. Dante took a life carl sacrificed himself for and the writers most likely wouldve added that in because they know the audience wouldve wanted to see that side of rick again. Especially on a guy like dante
I wish we would have gotten another throat biting scene from Rick I wish we could have scene Alpha and Beta's reaction to seeing Rick rip a Whisperers's throat out or see him pull a Gareth on them

Daryl wasn’t inspired or molded by Dwight, it was the opposite. They teased Daryl was coming to the comics by creating Dwight and “teasing” him with a crossbow and his biker vest on the cover of something to fear arc.
I was most looking forward Rick and Negans next stage of their rivalry relationship, their chemestry together was so intense and captivating! It sucks so much we never got it. Most of that storyline went to Daryl and Negan during the Whisperer arc. Edit: Negan becoming the new Alpha scene. Darryl on his knees and Negan with a double barrel shotgun with the two whisperers. I could see Rick in Daryls position. "You should probably shoot me." Negan teasing him once again while on his knees, then they work together to takeem out.
Wish you mention alittle more what happens to Lydia (Because I feel like Rick would probably form a bond with her similar to Carol in the main show), but outside of that, this was amazing. I wish this is what we got in the main show.
all in all no hate on the show. It's a very good show ignore all the social media bullshit saying it's bad. I'm glad they chose to make more series if I want to watch them I can if not I don't have to and the budget is there.
Honestly since the ones who lived came out, I’m glad the show played out the way it did. I’m saying that, I think you’re pretty close to what could have been

Love the vid, the only problem I have is the Daryl ark, I think if you rewrote the story from season 2 it works however I feel as if though you undone a lot of Daryl’s character development to line his story with Dwight’s. Daryl became very reserved and in control of his emotions and I do not believe he would have a burst of rage like Dwight did And often he sided with Rick even if he did not like his choices.
I honestly think if Scott gimple wasn’t fired, Daryl would’ve died like that. He was clearly slowly going against Rick in season 8. It’s was being set up for him to get Dwight’s comic death. But then Andrew left the show and Scott was fired so that plot line was just abandoned.
What if Ed survived and Sophia’s death would effect ed so he would try to become a better husband towards carol and they would have a Negan and Maggie dynamic
tbh i doubt Daryl would suggest sending negan off but i believe Rick in his talks with Negan, Negan would mention it and eventually Rick decides himself to send him as a last resort
I think Rick would have focused more on find a way to take out alpha's horde instead of alpha. I would have liked to think that he knew that killing alpha wouldn't have achieved much in the grand scheme of things
Turning off my brain, this “what if” scenario you weaved with Rick is actually pretty good. There's just two minor gripes I have with this, though, toward the end, and it is because you chose to play it safe instead of amping up the stakes and taking risks with the story. 36:13 In that moment where Daryl and Rick finally point guns at each other, Rick should shoot Daryl in this scene, brutally showing him being killed and a callback to season 1 when they first met up in arms. This adds more weight than Dwight's comic death, and sets up the fact that Rick will put even his friends beneath what he tries to do what Carl envisioned. Just have Michonne take over Daryl's actions from here so she isn't sidelined. 40:06 I really like this assassination plot point with Sebastian Milton, it feels like a much better way to setup Rick's death on the main show proper. Have him shoot him right away and Rick bleeds out like in his final episode 9x05 on the main show in mirroring this scene. Here, what would add weight to the stakes here of Rick's actions is to have Sebastian bring up to Rick the fact that he brought this on himself, to protect what he has going, and that challenging ideal led to him killing his best friend, and now that Rick comes face-to-face with this realization, is broken down in spirit or refuses to defy what he's done for the cost to pursue keeping everyone together. And it's here Michonne comes in and kills Sebastian(or knocks him out) and he dies bleeding in her arms. This TV show timeline then ends on a tragedy like the comics, but with all Grimes dead, bar Judith, future storylines and spinoffs with the CRM follow ideas that were conceived for S9 onward on what we now know in spinoffs. Rick's statue is left as a monument in an epilogue, Michonne or Judith reminisces in the epilogue of this ending, and The Brave Man dies an honorable death for truly holding those ideals together of bringing Carl's vision to life no matter the odds. This is how the show could've ended in this timeline(on a much more tragic note).
You also forgot to mention that Henry would have to be like 13 or 14 when he's introduced so he isn't 12 going after 16 year old Lydia 😂 Unless you also make Lydia younger, which could be a way to replace the young Carl x Sophia romance. And seeing 12 year old henry on the spikes instead of 17 year old Henry would hit even harder. Showing just how ruthless Alpha is.
Siento que el rick de la serie es mucho mejor que en el cómic. I think they went too far with Maggie’s hatred towards neegan.. like it consumed her every story line.. it was rather old fast.. which is why I think lil hershel has such a problem with his mom n the Maggie neegan series, it’s time to put it to rest.. I think their series would’ve been better had she still not been so grudgful.. they parted on more peaceful terms on the walking dead to her hating him again and doing what she did.. just annoying, cringy.. anyways I hope they put it to rest finally when they return or I don’t think she’ll be liked much longer
Bro she only went back to Negan cause her kid was kidnapped, and the people who kidnapped Hershel wanted negan remember? That’s the only reason she had to go back to him and the conflict of her hating him or getting over it comes back out but now she’s starting to realize that she has to make a choice about it and focus on her son. Did you not watch the show? 😂
I think Rick would have really been challenged as leader by a larger group as his struggling to make every group work and find peace would have been quickly manipulated and exposed by Alpha in the beginning. It could have caused someone in Rick’s lingering group of close friends to lose their life and maybe could have led to Rick allowing Negan to “rebuild” his leadership and murder jacket side to take the fight back and win it. So a better blending with the comic story in a sense.
