Quick Theory
Whitebeard moved the second Poneglyph from Fishman Island to Elbaf BECAUSE he knew Big Mom was actively looking for it and also knew she would never step foot in Elbaf as she hates it there.
Conclusion: Final Road is in Elbaf.

here is what i think - the road poneglyph that bigmom has is the fishman one . Kaido has the wano Poneglyph , minks have the one at Zoe . onlt race left is Giants = Elbaf .
so the reason why non of the emperors were able to be the pirate king is bcz the last Poneglyph is at Elbaf .
as was stated in Whole Cake ark by Lola sister , Elbaf has the stronges army of giants in the world and bigmom also said that if she had the army of Elbaf and lola married the prince she would have defeated all the Yonko and Became the Pirate King .
Luffy has the largest territory as a lifelong ally of sniper king who put himself under luffy, he has sniper island under his protection. This of course means he conquered everyones hearts, since sniper island is in your heart.

I'd like to imagine the way the Bartolameo vs. Shanks situation went down would be Shanks using conquerers haki to knock out the entire Barto Club, seeing the Straw Hat jolly roger, questioning Barto, finding out about Luffy's exploits, partying with the Barto Club and then finally sending them on their way to terrorize Black Beard or Kaido's territory instead, probably giving them intel on easy targets for them to take out

Dude, Bartolomeo's ship is literally Luffy. He's selling strawhat merch. Even if that doesn't convince you that he's an Ally, it definitely proves that he's a fanboy. I'm pretty sure that shanks won't kill him too hard for that.

To support this tekking was pretty spot on at around 12:30 with his quick hypothesis about Orochi throwing a fit at the fire festival and Kaido casually ending him. That ended up actually happening. The only part he was wrong on is what Orochi was throwing a fit about.

When you were talking about Shanks's viking inspirations, all I could think about is how Oda got the idea for One Piece from a show called "Vicky the Viking." Probably entirely unrelated to the story itself but could explain why Red Force, one of the first major ships shown in the series, has a viking motif.
There are also theories about the inspirations for Shanks. Some say that his red hair is a reference to viking Erik the Red, others say the god Thor. Him lacking an arm may be a nod to the norse god Tyr, who also had it bitten off him.
Watch as Shanks tribute to reside on his territories happens to be booze. That or he just claims inhabited islands as his own (as seen when Ace visited him.)

Here's a vid idea: Ryuo/flowing haki/whatever you call it, was teased in the Colosseum with the chinjao family using the eight-impacts-fist to break thru armor.
when they were fighting the funk brothers, the younger funk had "a strong body" & it even broke an axe (maybe like big mom's strong body?) & then Sai used the impact fist thingy & it worked in hurting him.
I think this was teasing the advanced armament haki, just like how skypia teased observation haki.
Rayleigh used the special armament haki all the way back on Sabaody, during the slave auction. The eight impact fist might just be a similar technique.
Man I really want to see this moment play out;
"Here Shanks, I am giving you back your hat as promised.

@@nerodeadweightclaudius5422 I think Shanks is one of the few people that really know what Blackbeard is about and how strong he really is. Not saying that Shanks will 100% survive, but I think he would be the last person to be killed by Blackbeard. Unless he has to sacrifice himself to save his friends like Whitebeard did.
I hope shanks is different compared to the other yonkou.. the other yonkou prefer not to kill people, even kaido dont do that, they prefer people submitted or join them, i hope shanks dont do that, and he preferred to kill people that dare to fight him, and thats why kidd lost his hand because shanks actually want to kill him but kidd escape..
What about young yonko luffy and his territories ? He has the support of Alabasta , fish man island , drum island , dressrosa , Amazon lily and sky island
Most of those kingdoms support him in secret and are still members of the world government, wouldn't really call them his territories.
Only Fishman Island can be called his territory, cause he kinda claimed it under his protection.

8:26 if you look at white beards teeth you can see that they are perfectly white which leads me to believe that his mustache is providing power for not only him but the entire worlds supply of the color white for example when a character dies or is heavily injured there eyes usually roll up and appear white that shows that white beard is secretly using his power over the color white to put his stand BARRY QUEEN in people eyes to make it so that when he would eventually have died he can reverse the effects of his death by using his BARRY QUEEN to blow up the time stream.

I think that an advanced form of Conqueror's haki would be "mind control". Overpowering another persons will and making them do what the user wants. Conquerors had followers so this could be an ability to make subordinates. One example could be how Roger convinced Garp to watch after Ace. His eyes in that scene were the same as the others when they use conquerors haki and he acted as if he knew Garp would do it, not being nervous in the slightest.
There's definitely an aspect of asserting your will over others, but I think that's more in a sense of charisma than outright mind control. Roger knew Garp would do it because they've had a back and forth for much of their careers and he knows Garp well.
Luffy probably won't have kids, but if he did, I'm pretty sure he'd trust them with Smoker or Koby without batting an eye.

@@YeahTheDuckweed He doesn't deal with Wano. He uses wano's land and wano's people to create factories and weapons. Then he uses those weapons to make deals in the underworld and black market, like his deal with Doflamingo where he gave Doffy weapons and Doffy gave him SMILE Fruits.
Wano doesn't gain anything from Kaido ruling. Wano just loses from Kaido being in charge

I expect Elbaf would have to be under Yonko(Shanks) influence because otherwise I can't reason why Big Mom wouldn't just conquer it seeing as how brutal Big Mom has been shown in the story.

pirakax12 makes sense, the people would want the protection of a Yonko since without protection the World Government would be knocking on the door REAL quick... they’d want their military might as well as their seaprism stone supply and knowhow.
Funny thing about Luffy from the perspective of the scrub pirates/sailors/marines of the setting. You gotta remember that in the Paradise portion of the Grandline the first thing most people would see coming into the region from the Reverse Mountain is Laboon and the Strawhats' Jolly Roger on his snout, and the last island that they reach, if they are badass enough, to cross into the New World, is Fishman Island, again with the Strawhat Flag. I'd say that after the news of Luffy being named as the Fifth Emperor and getting a massive Grand Fleet, some people would have immediately started thinking that Luffy and the Strawhats were laying their claim on the Paradise as they were building up to take on the Emperors from the moment they entered the Grand Line. Which is kinda crazy but makes sense when you think about all the stuff they got involved in, which essentially could be seen as the Strawhats saying, "Yo WG? You and your Warlords ain't nothing. Screw you and your Celestial Dragons. Try and take us out, we finna come back stronger than ever!" We as the readers know otherwise, but holy hell the Strawhats would be a scary crew of insane rookies led by a mad lad to end all mad lads, whose family included the Marine Hero Garp and his brother Ace, who was the only son of Gol D. Roger.
Mihawk joins Shanks now that he isn't a shichibukai so now even Zoro has a purpose of going up against the Red Hair Pirates.

Oh about yonko protection on Elbaf, yeah that's possible I think. Because LinLin grew up to be such a fearsome pirate, if she decided to occupy Elbaf, the giants definitely wouldn't mind to get some help.
The friendly fight over the straw hat seems so fucking fitting. I can see it. Shanks is a father figure to Luffy but he knows that he will have to beat him in order to become pirate king.
1. Luffy has skypiea like adventure on Elbaf and just when you think it is over Ussop spots the red force coming to the island in the distance.
2. Strawhats vs Shanks davy back fight for the last Road Poneglyph.
3. After Luffy's crew barely wins and they are about to start a party with the red hair pirates when Blackbeard shows up.
4. the strawhats are too weak to fight so the red hair pirates force fluffy and crew to leave somehow while they hold black beard off. (The stawhats do get a rubbing of the Poneglyph)
5. we see just how badass shanks is when he and his crew have a serious fight aginst 2 yonko level crews back to back. (The strawhats and then the Blackbeard pirates)
6. Shanks would have won despite all the odds but then is killed when blackbeard pulls a stunt/dirty trick.
7. Blackbeard defeats the red hair pirates and gets their stuff. The world Gov finally takes Blackbeard seriously.
7. it is now a race to Laugh Tail where the Strawhats will have to fight blackbeard and the marines for the One Piece.

Kidd wants revenge on shanks for his arm. Blackbeard wants to destroy the world, so taking out the freindliest yonko would create more chaos. Kidd and Blackbeard make the plan and go to double team Shanks. Strawhats somehow catch wind of it and go to help Shanks. And Law (if he is still with the strawhats at this point) has to pick a side. And the situation will appear very stacked against the strawhats so Law’s tacticle mind will keep his choice ambiguous but he knows that one of the two remaining emperors has to fall, an likewise the supernova backing them.

I could see Luffy fighting the other Yonko and for Shanks, Luffy helps him out. Maybe he has to prove himself against someone, maybe even Blackbeard's forces. Not necessarily Blackbeard himself. At the end they do some sort of competition. Afterwards, he goes after Blackbeard himself.
Didn't Bartholomeo and the rest of the Straw Hat Grand Fleet take over territories in the Cover Story? If they all did this, Luffy would have quite a lot of territories.

How do you guys think Luffy will fight Kaido? He only brought out snake man when Katakuri dominated him speed wise. Kaido has already been shown to dominate Luffy as far as strength goes, so I think it’s likely Luffy will try to bring out a super defensive form: Tankman/regular version.

I feel like.. after such a long time with Shanks being the "good guy", it will be revealed that he has being doing something "bad" in the shadows(I mean, we've seen him do some sketchy stuff already, having a chat with the elders in Mariejois - wearing a cloak. shady stuff!), and Luffy will fight him for that.. but in the end they will go their separate ways as friends. It would feel natural to your typical story anyway.
