Not sure if there's a variant for romance for those two since if you let them remember a romanced Galfrey never marries, otherwise she marries a knight.
She never gets mentioned for whatever reason, likely a bug. I did not romance her (or anyone else) but she was fully "redeemed" to the point where as an Aeon you can screech about how Desna shouldn't pardon her criminal aura.

I'm working through an Angel/Gold Dragon play-through right now and fully intend to pick up all the requirements for the ascension ending, rest assured. Renegade Aeon (ascension is not available to True Aeon) is probably going to be one of my last, though.

@@Chrimp1724 Don´t worry. I´ve already found out it is indeed a bug because if i continue to the Theshold i just end up with rank 9 instead of 10 before the ending. I hope they fix it. Thanks again for answering :)
I glanced around Threshold for an alternative path. I might simply be (semi)blind, but the portal was all I saw. On the other hand, straying from being peak Lawful Aeon would require another playthrough. From what I've heard, doing so prevents you from redeeming Staunton so I imagine you'd have to start the straying after saving Terendelev, which might not even be possible even if it were solely tied to alignment and not previous choices in the Aeon quests. Either way, Terendelev only shows up as a cameo in a battle (and not as a very effective combatant, I might add).
From what I've seen, you can still timetravel as a renegade Aeon but you can't get as good outcomes. Xanthir can only be killed or let go, not redeemed. Staunton can still be redeemed iirc and you can prevent Drezen falling but he leaves after, and Terendelev won't listen to you and will still eat shit.
Not from what I could see. Supposedly there's a difference between being an official, peak Lawful Neutral Aeon (this) and being a "renegade" where you make your judgments according to your whims rather than THE LAAAAW. Personally, I found this ending to be bittersweet. The only person who does not survive this timeline is Areelu and the current version of yourself. The mortal version that Areelu would go on to implant with mythic powers simply lives their mortal life, whatever it may be. It also makes it all the more tragic should you choose to remain an Aeon for the full path. You gradually become a cog in the cosmic machine; a tool to be used and discarded as needed for the sake of an uncaring universe and yet it is arguably the most "moral" outcome because the Worldwound never opens. And yet you could've saved yourself by shifting paths and avoiding this fate.
im guessing you can do all the Aeon time travels and just skip this one leaving a world where the Worldwound does occur but many characters get revived/reddimed
Not as a "True" Aeon. You see me at the start try to pull away from the rift, but it doesn't let me. There were no other paths that I could find. In the end, I was a machine riding upon rails that I had willfully stepped onto quite a long time ago - and had no means of getting off.

Hm, during the Aeon path it is posible to save Terendelev, but reject Aeon's True Ending?
Does the renegade aeon change anything?
Allegedly, though I can't verify anything since I don't intend to do a renegade Aeon playthrough for a while.
I don't like the Aeon ending since you, well, die... Don't like that. They should offer a way for you to keep on existing as a judge.
This ending is so shitty, does it have other variants or is this what to expect at the end?
