I think the new Mumbai Metro is also failing because of many reasons such as the locations for the stations is areorly planned and Hardly 2-10 commuters per train being seen. Can u make a video on it as well
Mono rail is not a failure in Mumbai. Now it's frequency is about 22 to 30 minutes. This is too much slow as per Mumbai standards. If it can be brought down to 3 to 6 minutes it will attract more travelers. It is a shame to see authorities are irresponsible in this matter.

I mean that will require almost 3-4x the no of coaches that is too much of an investment not to mention this is non-standardized rail lines and coaches that requires special maintenance staff, special training for such a small subsection of trains, entire staff that is trained with this system needs to be on duty, all in all drawbacks are just too much. Especially in India where we have massive crowds, a high capacity metro makes more sense compared to a weak monorail. Sydney removed their monorail after 30 years because of crowds and low capacity. And moreover, mono has frequency of 18 minute's! If that is reduced to 10 min or less, this would be even more popular. Yes the initial phase is disaster. Mono runs almost empty but after wadala stn mono actually recives good number of passengers
Monorail in Mumbai is built along the harbour railway line to east coast of Mumbai. Harbour railway line is already least crowded railway line, so there is no use of building another one. They should have built it between badlapur to dadar. Pura bharke jata 😅

not a fan of monorails in general TBH. regular trains are cheaper to make and you can connect them to the existing network.
