I had a radio show in college in the late 90s and probably played some version of every one of these (the Insyderz version of Shout to the Lord was fantastic). Ah, those were great times. (P. S. I actually just listened to Agnus Dei Doxology a couple days ago, and I really liked it. It is such a beautiful song. It's very similar to an anthem that we sing in our church, (it's not a praise and worship version, just so you know), and it's in Latin. We sing it every Lent and Holy Week.

The version by Sonicflood makes me cringe. Though tbf, everything by Sonicflood makes me cringe. I'm not sure who they were trying to appeal to. Teenage girls who liked boy bands?
@@darrenwithers3628 Please reconsider your comment. It's a disservice to all their hard work and God given talent.
@@darrenwithers3628their version is my favorite I didn't ever hear the slower rendition until the baptist church I attended the mid 2000s sang it. .
This was hysterical! Thanks for this uplifting video!
I’m so excited for this one. Just started getting into 90s Christian music
I was born in the 80’s raised in the 90’s and early 2000’s (high school class of ‘04). Raised on 70’s, 80’s, 90’s, early 2000’s music. So glad you are enjoying it!!
They are so pure in so many ways, have a wonderful time listening and drawing close to Him.
Don’t forget to add Carman in to you 90s mix
@@lp6wo thanks for the suggestion. I will definitely check them out.
This was so much fun! I came to faith listening to these songs in the early 2000s.
I had a radio show in college in the late 90s and probably played some version of every one of these (the Insyderz version of Shout to the Lord was fantastic). Ah, those were great times.
(P. S. I loved how everyone kept guessing Michael W. Smith and Amy Grant when they didn't know, as if those were the only 2 worship singers of the 90s 😂.)
I had so much fun watching!! Had a hard time with the songs since I didn’t start listening to Christian music until 2008 but enjoyed every minute. Wish I had come to the Lord sooner. Betty and Joy please do a show.
This video was hilarious!! I miss everyone at WayNation and WayFM!!! ❤️❤️
This was so fun to watch and listen to.
90’s Christian music rocks!
You need to have Betty and Joy against each other more. They're hilarious.... My favorite song battle!
I can’t believe they chose a sonicflood song! Their debut is still in my top fave albums of all time. I freaking listened to it EVERY day for YEARS and told everyone else to do the same!
The memories... let me update my 90s worship playlist!! The laugh I definitely needed today!!
I AM SO HAPPY! I grew up with these songs. Nostalgia trip definitely!
This was AWESOME! I knew all of these songs & still listen to many of them. Lol.
Oh my goodness! These songs bring back so many childhood memories.
I played that first Sonic Flood album hundreds of times way back when! Very cool to hear these again.
Nearly half of these songs are on our song list this Sunday. 😂
Same. :P
Didn't grow up in the 90s, but still know all of these - such good classics!
This was so fun watching & playing along.
I'm still listening maranatha music songs of 90's and 80's, no one can beat their God gifted voice not even modern 2022 maranatha singers.
My first "big" concert was when So icflood came to our church, I still have the hat they all signed! And Petra, dude that was my jam!!!
This was soo fun and wholesome to watch!
Joy at 12:40 "It's like he's here" always makes me chuckle 🤭
Even though I grew up in a Christian home and knew our Church Hymns, I choose to listen to popular music growing up, on the week days.
Now, many years later, I'm trying to build my own Christian Music playlist so thank you for sharing these songs and artists. 😊🙏❤️🕊️
Thank you for bringing this good Songs Back
Such fun! Well done! Thanks for sharing!!!! God bless!!!
I feel like everyone covered every song! You are so right.
Oh my, Wally is SO hilarious!!?? When he yelled , “Who knows that?” about Darlene Schecke, I took umbrage and yelled “I do!!??” 🤣🤣
Song battles make me so happy 🤣
Listening to Hillsong actually crushes me on the inside as it reminds me of a time when family still spent time together and a loss of absolute stability in life since. But proper Christian bangers though!! Absolutely love it..!
Can I just note that Michael W. Smith was a realistic option for almost all of these, according to the contestants? Go Michael!
I knew Third Day immediately. My most favorite version of Agnus Dei.
Even before I heard the song, I just saw them fast forwarding, and I was like, "Oh it's Third Day, they're the only ones with intros this long." 😅
@@AngelaSealana hahaha 🤣
I knew Joy when she lived in Ft. Myers, FL! So cool to see her.
Such a great video. Takes me back to my younger days
Michael W. Smith for every guess
Wow! This just got fed to me from YoutTube and it DID NOT disappoint! 😂
I live in India, and grew up to the same songs. This was really nice ❤️🔥
always makes my day better !!
these people are all delightful and this was very fun
That was the best!!
All of you were too funny, and I enjoyed watching you try and guess the songs
Wally’s screen shaking on his Sandy Patty guess and the producer going “Ut’s definitely dead” were quality moments. 😂 I really want Joy and Bekah to have Betty on their Holy Mess podcast. Just the three of them would be a blast. And they could talk to Betty about her battle with anxiety, because I’ve been wanting to hear her talk more about that.
Love you guys!!
I’m cracking up! 😂😂 This was my ministry training decade. We did soooo many of these songs at church.
I laughed so hard! Hilarious!
I lead worship in the late 90’s and could not remember 1/2 of these titles. 🤷♀️
I knew all of the songs, though I didn't know Petra did a version of Lord I Life Your Name On High - or that Third Day had a million-year-long intro to a version of Agnus Dei! 😂 And yeah, everyone was covering everyone else's stuff back then, allll the time.
I never could remember the title for Agnus Dei since it doesn't occur in the song
Its named after his grandma...Agnus 🤣
Petra rescued the song from boredom.
@@oxoelfoxo not even in translation form . Agnus Dei= lamb of God
