More by Matthew West is one of my all time favorites since I was a little kid single like 2006. That song reminds me that God loves us more than whatever happens in this world, and God made us perfectly according to Psalm 139:14 and he is our God that has endless love forever even when he gave his life to die and save us as well.
Pretty entertaining and nicely done 🙂 Yet, it fills me with sadness that already in the 2000s CCM shifted towards worship songs as you can hear comparing this video with the 1990s editions. I remember when DC Talk was on secular radio stations and listened to by Christian teenagers and their non-Christian friends. CCM has no impact outside the Christian bubble anymore, neither spiritually nor artistically (with very little exceptions)
You're not wrong. Honestly, the only artist who isn't even CCM but is gospel, who has worked with secular artists but still remains a Christian and remains in gospel is Kirk Franklin. But there hasn't been better CCM music than the 90's and 00's.
