Oh gosh, when they got to Waves of Mercy, it hit me hard, because I remembered that song and the hand motions one time when I was in VBS, not helping, but attending. Love it! Thank you, Way Nation for helping me remember this song. I love that song!
Ohhh yeah! And when you do (with whatever genre of song battle), I wonder what would happen if you threw in an earlier Rebecca St James song. See if they can guess their sister's song? 😏
"I love the Getty's but I forgot about them..." Keith literally wrote "In Christ Alone" with Stuart Townend. This is one of my problems with the Christian worship scene is that everyone covers everyone else's songs to the point where you can't know where anything came from.
The way to solve this is ALWAYS refer back to the original artist. Sometimes people hear a song in Spanish or any other language and they think its original. Mention the original. ❤❤
Oh my gosh, I was so tickled at how many of these I recognized. Took me straight back to Catholic Youth Convention! And it was, in the 2000s, so that makes sense.
I love the version of his that includes the verse directly about his friend. It got me through the death of my best friend. I thought about You The day Stephen died And you met me between my breaking I know that I still love you God Despite the agony See people they want to tell me you’re cruel But if Stephen could sing He’d say it’s not true Cause you’re good
🤣🤣🤣 This was fun! And Betty had me laughing so big with the N*Sync ring in! 🤣🤣🤣 Carder...noooo! You were so close! Jon for clutch win on that one! 💯💯💯 Taya and Ben, as a team, that was awesome! I too have to do some studying. But y'all were ringing in so quickly I couldn't get my bearings. Lol 🎉🎉🎉
...🙏👍🏾🙏✨✨✨THIS HAS BEEN A VERY AMAZING GAME TO WATCH Y'ALL PLAY... AND I HOPE COME BACK AGAIN AND PLAY AGAIN ...AS Y'ALL CONTINUALLY STAY UP AND STAND GRATEFUL...✨✨✨🙏👍🏾🙏...
"God of Wonders" is a song originally written by Steve Hindalong and Marc Byrd, from The Choir (a Christian rock group). The song was originally recorded by Caedmon's Call and Third Day. It originally appeared on the 2000 compilation album, City on a Hill: Songs of Worship and Praise. I grew up loving this song and personally know Steve Hindalong and other band members from The Choir.😊
Me in my kitchen screaming ARE YOU KIDDING when amazing grace (my chains are gone) started and no one spoke up. If I could have back the time that I’ve spent hearing that song I’d probably live an extra 3 years 🥴
While my personal score was worse than I had hoped going into it, I have to say i was pretty proud of guessing my favorite worship song (God of Wonders) in two guitar strums. Kinda wish it had been the Caedmon's Call version, but Third Day is definitely a good close second!
This was a fun video to watch. Also, it’s funny how someone mentioned Phillips, Craig and Dean. I wish you would’ve put one of their songs on here because let my words be few let your glory fall and the newsboys with adoration the worship album were my three favorite early 2000s worship albums when I was growing up
I can't remember what song it was, but I thought that it was by P.C.D. And, then, to hear someone else guess them for that song, too, confirmed what I thought - that they have a version of that song.
The first song is so good! I love Michael W. Smith. I grew up listening to his CDs and I got to see him in Concert in Houston last month!!! It was so good! Thanks for picking that amazing song!
This was such a great song battle! One recent idea I had for a type of song battle was (pick a decade- 90s, early 2000s, etc. or in general) Christian Female Artists Song Battle. Then you could play songs from artists like Amy Grant, Sandi Patty, Jaci Velasquez, Rebecca St. James, Jennifer Knapp, Nichole Nordeman, Michelle Tumes, Mandisa, Lauren Daigle, you name it....see if anyone remembers some of these names they haven't heard in a while...?😏
The lyrics of "God of Wonders" were written by Steve Hindalong of THE CHOIR! Please do a song battle with 80's Christian Alternative music - The Altar Boys, Crumbacher, Undercover, the Choir etc.
Definitely do Michael w smith song challenge and have Michael w smith in it guessing his own songs and do Jeremy camp song battle see if Jeremy knows his own songs
the poetry in these songs, I miss it so much, 'And we are His portion and He is our prize, Drawn to redemption by the grace in His eyes. If His grace is an ocean, we're all sinking. And Heaven meets earth like an unforeseen kiss. And my heart turns violently inside of my chest. I don't have time to maintain these regrets, When I think about the way... He loves us.
While many African American Christians know and cherish these contemporary Christian songs - which hold a special place in my heart since my childhood - many are unaware that there are highly influential black gospel artists who remain relatively unknown to the broader Christian community, possibly due to their minority status. Though I shouldn't be surprised, I often am, as I'm familiar with all the songs sung by my white brothers and sisters. It's an expected reality, but it can leave me feeling invisible. There are many Worship songs from the 20’s in the gospel genre. At the end of the day we are one body in Christ. I can’t fault people for being unaware of something.
The three battles were each such a different mood; taya and Ben - gentle, carder and Jon - anger, betty and joy - nostalgia and chaos. 😂
😂😂
So accurate 🤣🤣🤣
Lol absolute chaos! She fell off her chair! 🤣😂🤣
That was so much fun, thank you Waynation!
I cracked up for 2 minutes at this comment 😂😂😂
“Better ask God to turn it around” I CACKLED 😂😂😂
and He surely did😭😭
the way Joy got excited about winning and fell off her chair… and Betty saying that was a win for her too…😂😂😂😂
I wheezed 🤣
Betty Rock & Joy need their own UA-cam channel or something. Watching the two of them together cracks me up.
They're like a Christian Cagney and Lacey...but hilarious. We need more of them in our life. *insert worship song 'More of You'*
THEY DOOOOO! I thought Taya was just adorable cute but those two were hilarious.
The “No, it’s not,” from the moderator was everything. 😂2:10
Oh gosh, when they got to Waves of Mercy, it hit me hard, because I remembered that song and the hand motions one time when I was in VBS, not helping, but attending. Love it! Thank you, Way Nation for helping me remember this song. I love that song!
I need one with 2010s worships please 🤣
I think there is one but they definitely need more.
Keep putting Betty and Joy together - I love watching them!
“Better ask God to turn it around” got me 🤣🤣🤣
Soooo great. 😆
Do one with For King & Country again!! Those were so fun ❤🥰
Yes! The competition between the brothers is always so fun to watch!!!
Ohhh yeah! And when you do (with whatever genre of song battle), I wonder what would happen if you threw in an earlier Rebecca St James song. See if they can guess their sister's song? 😏
Taya and her husband were so cute, she was almost like wait, I'm supposed to know these, not you! Keep them coming!
This was such a great video!!! Poor Carder, though. It's horrible that he lost three times in a row 😂
On the final question! Heartbreak.
"I love the Getty's but I forgot about them..." Keith literally wrote "In Christ Alone" with Stuart Townend. This is one of my problems with the Christian worship scene is that everyone covers everyone else's songs to the point where you can't know where anything came from.
As long as the Lord is remembered through the songs, the one who composed it doesn't matter right?
Yeah, I mean, it's not a huge problem but sometimes you want to credit the creator of the song and you just can't 😅
Is Christ not meant for everyone? Not allowing covers, or sharing songs is a worldly thing in my opinion
@@Shay-y5i It's less that, and more taking credit for someone else's work. In other words, stealing.
The way to solve this is ALWAYS refer back to the original artist. Sometimes people hear a song in Spanish or any other language and they think its original. Mention the original. ❤❤
Oh my goodness, I feel like I just went down, middle school/high school worship memory Lane!!!
Betty and joy CARRIED THIS with their humours banter 🤣🤣😭🩷
This was Epic! and I love all their personalities - Gods children shine so bright when they are living in joy :)
I loved how Taya said when we come back. I'm so happy she wants to come back and I love how her husband supports her
Betty and Joy are literally amazing! So entertaining!
Also can I give 3 points to Carder for the energy? Because the dude deserves a W every now and then!
Oh my gosh, I was so tickled at how many of these I recognized. Took me straight back to Catholic Youth Convention! And it was, in the 2000s, so that makes sense.
Good for you! 😀😊🙂 I joined the Catholic Church going on 3 years now, and I still love Christian music. It is such a great mind cleanser.
Carder you did an excellent job. You have nothing to be shamed about. Lots of love from Texas.
PS... Editing Team for the win again!! 🥰🎉💯
Keith and Krystin Getty are such amazing people! I had the honor of hearing them live at my college and it was an amazing experience
love these, and at least someone realized that How He Loves is origionally John Mark McMillan :) My favorite verstion btw
I love the version of his that includes the verse directly about his friend. It got me through the death of my best friend.
I thought about You
The day Stephen died
And you met me between my breaking
I know that I still love you God
Despite the agony
See people they want to tell me you’re cruel
But if Stephen could sing
He’d say it’s not true
Cause you’re good
😂😂😂😂😂 How did Jon win? Loved this!
He won cuz Carder made a bad bet lol
Oh man, the nostalgia for me with these songs 🥲
This was one of the most fun interactive things I've watched in awhile; I was in it to win it and lost but now am found!🎉😊😂
I’m a 2002 baby and I am proud to say that I only missed 1 😌. 2000 music was so beautiful ❤️
The “Tim…oh…thy” had me in stitches 😂
🤣🤣🤣 This was fun! And Betty had me laughing so big with the N*Sync ring in! 🤣🤣🤣 Carder...noooo! You were so close! Jon for clutch win on that one! 💯💯💯 Taya and Ben, as a team, that was awesome! I too have to do some studying. But y'all were ringing in so quickly I couldn't get my bearings. Lol 🎉🎉🎉
This was so awesome!!!! Betty and Joy had me rolling!!!!
God really turned things around for Jon
I'm still stuck in this worship decade.
Am not American, and i never be there but i know all of those song 🎉 i grew up with it. Thanks to my Father 😊
Joy was in rare form this day and the end was hilarious lol
Amazingly, I still remember these worship songs, because our LORD has ensured that they are imprinted in my mind.
Man, Everlasting God is one of the songs I grew up with. I'll never forget it
2000-2010 worship praise songs were the best.

David Crowder how he loves was the most popular song in my youth group
I wish you would play more of the song after they guess.
I don’t use I love except to describe someone I would die for, but I rewatch these videos all the time!

thanks for letting me re-connect with the worship songs of my youth
why is Taya so beautiful oh my lord 😭😭❤
I love these ones! 2000s is my favorite Era for worship songs! Thanks for all the laughs and fun!

I’m so happy that I actually got most of these! I’m also feeling old. Gonna be 39 in 3 weeks.🙄
I feel old! I still listen to all this music and didn’t realize it was from the early 2000s.
Great job you guys, love the duos. Especially the come from behind wins!😅😅
I love backstreet boys and I'm in heaven and I Love their voices of angels and God bless you guys too ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I love this. I love to sing these songs until now.
Every Move I Make is every youth leaders nightmare. Almost every Sunday and every VBS it’s played at my church😭

This was amazing, I love it when you do worship song battles!

Today, I've been practicing playing God turn it around on the piano 😁 cant wait to know it by heart
So much fun and hilarious. It's the interlude sound effects for me 😅😅
😄🤣😂you made my day! totally laughing on my lunch break. Thank you 👏👏👏
I used to attend the church where linclon brewster is leader and I remember all these songs. Very neat
I got every one except Tim Hughes. This was the soundtrack to my tween years.
"Heaven and earth will pass away, but My Words will NEVER pass away." -our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ
Carder, our mouth is like a pen writer. You jinxed your win😭😭😭😭
He said “better be asking God to turn it around” 😂
As a school, we used to watch the WOW (world of worship) music videos on the big projection screen on the weekend
The lyrics of "God of Wonders" were written by Steve Hindalong of THE CHOIR! Please do a song battle with 80's Christian Alternative music - The Altar Boys, Crumbacher, Undercover, the Choir etc.
Crumbacher is so underrated!

Joy did say Michael W Smith for every guess 😂

Definitely do Michael w smith song challenge and have Michael w smith in it guessing his own songs and do Jeremy camp song battle see if Jeremy knows his own songs
How do we go about importing Betty and Joy for a youth group song battle?
I missed so many. It’s over 21 years since I’ve played these in my cd player. Yes I have cd players 🤣🤣
From Uganda and can guess all the songs just listening to the introduction 😊
These are my favorite videos! Please keep doing them! ❤️

This video was uplifting for me. GOD BLESS YOU ALL❤
Loved it!
Oh noo the comeback at the end!
I realized that the start of every 2000's worship song sounds like the into to life is a highway by Rascal Flatts
When the song "god of wonders" started playing I swear I thought it was holy is the lord by Chris Tomlin 😂
This is beautiful ❤ love from India 😊 you earned a subscriber✝️❤️
Thanks and welcome
@@hopenation_official hey I know my Christian music I was wondering if I could be a part of this some day
