Bring forward to 2023, and we have TERE BIN, what an addictive drama, and Yumna ( despite the poorly written character Meerub ); is really nailing it! I love Yumna Zaidi an actor!
This is a shame for us basically... fast forward to 2023, the legendary actress Yumna chose this everyday saas bahu drama Tere Bin after doing masterpieces like Ishq Zahe Naseeb and Pyaar ke Sadqay :) I was expecting more from her, she always choses something different but don't know what happened this time.
@@nycto16 you obviously didn’t see her interview where she said she is often asked to do social issue dramas, it she also did raaz e ulfat for the masses and she chose Tere Bin for this purpose, you forget that the full script of Tere bin wasn’t presented to them both, they were of the opinion Murtasim was the good guy and that it was a cat and mouse romance, YOU CANT CHASTISE HER FOR DOING TERE BIN, ALL ACTORS NEED TO HAVE DIFFERENT DRAMAS THEY NEED TO TRST THEIR VERSATILITY UPON,and despite Meerub’s character written so badly Yumna managed to deliver! You just can’t stand the fact that she has finally been noticed more widely outside of Pakistan,
@@gerryburntwood9617 Its about audience simply. Our audience only likes saas-bahu, romance, love triangle that's why geo's stupid dramas become popular and many other unique plots remain underrated. I know whenever actors want some fame they work on geo to get audience but overall Meerub wasn't for Yumna, Meerub is another ronay dhonay wala character can be done by literally anyone like Aymen/Minal, Ayeza Khan etc. Yumna deserves more unique plots, dark characters and out of the box content.
@@nycto16 yumna doesn’t need to prove anything as she has a body of work for the past years which dealt with social issues, so who are you to decide whether she should do this nor not? Given that she herself made it a point that she was doing this for the masses much like her Raaz e ulfat! Actors also need to do other roles, and not stick to social issue dramas! a I think none of the actors you mentioned would have done justice to Meerub like Yumna!
@@gerryburntwood9617 I'm one of her biggest fans, so I can at least say what work i like of her and what not. "Social Issue"? I'm not talking about social issues, I'm talking about new and unique content and the proof of a good actor is doing something out of the box every time instead of romance and saas-bahu. Khair literally anyone could do Meerub's character there's nothing special in it, a typical girl trying to avoid his husband and giving full freedom to Haya to achieve her goals of having Murtasm lol. Even Haya's character is more entertaining than Meerub's and admit it or not, Tere Bin is not worth watching at all, just typical story with dragged episodes and people are watching that drama mostly for Wahaj and Sabeena more than for Yumna, because real fans of Yumna expect more from her!
I have seen so many dramas of her. She really has some talent. She is Kind of underrated and under appreciated.

Me and my family become her fans from "Jugno" such a lovely easy going play and a happy girl that we don't often see in Pakistani dramas. Loved her in "Yeh raha dil" and "Guzarish" and now IZN . Yumna is the pride of Pakistan! She respects herself, her work and Pakistani values!
Love Yumna! She’s a powerhouse of talent and she does so many serious roles but her personality is that of a giddy sweet teenager - so cute! I sometimes just forward thru to watch her scenes in a lot of the boring dramas
Though Shakira's character is small but v powerfull..nd Yummna's eyes looks v expressive in tht role....

The character of Shakra became the heart and soul of this drama due to the mysteriously powerful and mind blowing performance of Yumna as Shakra.
Her eyes and stare was so deep and her voice and dialogue delivery was completely mesmerizing.
This character could never have been done by anyone better than Yumna.
Her looks are so innocent yet so mysteriously beautiful and mesmerising.
Zahid Ahmed also performed great as Sameera.
His performance was extremely gripping but to be honest Yumna's performance had an edge over it.
Performance of other actors was good but certainly wasn't the mainstay of this drama.
She stole the show i have seen gilmpses of the drama she is stunning...very talented woman

It was saddening that Yumma Zaidi was declared with no screen presence without even checking her track record by Something Haute. She is and always has been a fabulous actor and can give the Iqra Azizs and Soniyas a run for their money.

Very well said. Yeh Raha Dil was very good too. Pakistani showbiz industry is biased and has not given her any award. The kind of roles Yumna has done in over 12 dramas speak volumes about her versatility since 2012.

No one could’ve done this role better than Yumna! This was not a small part of the play - it was a huge role because it was the basis of his personality in adult life. The whole drama is about shakira and Sameer.

I’m surprised you guys haven’t seen her work before inkar. Yeh Raha Dil Jugnu are her adorable rom coms and dar si jati hey Sila her absolute masterpiece theater.

I feel like I'm the only one who's been following her since 'Ullu Baraye Farokht nahin' (not sure if it was her debut but that was the first time I saw her ) I had an image of her that she chooses dark/serious scripts but then I watched her Jugnoo and I was blown away as I had never seen anyone her age that versatile.. With each project her performance got better and better.. I mean she hardly had any dialogues in 'Dar si jati hai Sila' but she translated that character on screen to perfection but she never got any awards or the appreciation she deserved.. It genuinely makes me so happy seeing that she's finally getting recognition . I hope more people recognise her talent because she's undoubtedly an A class actress.

I saw her first time in "khushi ek roag" opposite sami khan and instantly fell in love with her acting.

I was surprised how conveniently Hassan put the Question about over stretching IZN to an extent that, apparently, it has distorted the whole script.certainly, it’s not easy for any artist to accept anything against the project;but she handled that smartly. Thoroughly enjoyed the interview, she is a darling!!!
