As always have a great day!
Love it I will use gallon jugs and freeze those it will last even longer
I agree gallon jugs would stay frozen longer. Thanks for the tip!
I love it. I just asked my boyfriend to help me build this. Fabulous. I will use it inside as I wait for my AC to be fixed. Super expensive to fix an AC. I saw someone make one for an outdoor festival and he had it in his tent. We were cool. Wow.
they sell large ones for about 150$
Jeff , you're a wizard !! Glad it worked and it sure put those " As Seen on TV" ones to shame!! Stay cool !!
Lol...it was really fun to build. Thanks for checking it out 😃
Made one before to use in a van that had no ac. It worked as long as as you were right in front of the unit. It never seemed to cool the interior of the van. Using big blocks of of ice is the way to go and you can put a couple drinks inside as well.
I think I like the second cooler better. I have a similar creation. I also use a three speed Vornado. Instead of water bottles I use large freezer packs to fill my vintage Igloo. My best low output temp is 63 degrees.
Freezer packs are a great idea! Thanks for the tip. 👍
I built one of those for my car and I used a 12 V fan… It was awesome
Very cool. Thanks for sharing your experience! 👍
Too Cool dude!😁
Lol...it is cool! Thanks for stopping by and commenting 👍
Jeff, Really cool! No pun intended. But a huge thank you for the DIY Personal Air Cooler! Again No pun intended! You've helped me solved my biggest problem with my not having AC in my old vintage car. Thank you Thank you!!!
I actually saw this on Tik Tok. I need to make one of these to use outside. It’s very hot in Las Vegas. This weeks been crazy. It’s been rainy
Very cool. If you end up building one. Let us know how ot went.
Just imagine if you put insulation and bagged ice into the cooler! 🥶 awesome video and a great DIY idea! 👍
I thought that too...since this cooler was cheap it didn't have any insulation. Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment 👍
I love your video it's the best I've ever seen cuz I'm going to make one of these thank you
I'm glad you like it! Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment 🙂
Thanks for the video jeff and I'm very interested in the go fan pro. I was wondering if you could review the go fan pro soon because I can't find it in any website. As always have a great day jeff! 👍
They are both good in this heat either one of those would do the job but the second one blowing faster would of been my choice.
I agree. The one with the Vornado is my go to. Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment 👍
I was wondering if using radiator coils may help to make the water drip back into the cooler rather than making the air more humid. A swamp cooler I think is only doable in dry desert environments where the extra moisture is tolerable. This build seems about perfect if you are cooling a very small space in a dry environment.
"This WILL void the warranty", HAHAHA! FUNNY.
This is so Dope Jeff. I could totally use this at my house 🤙
It is pretty cool 🥶 lol. Thanks for stopping by and commenting 👍
Brillant! Lol you may have just put personal AC's out of business. Great DYI and great video! 👏
Lol...I don't know about that but it was a lot of fun to build. Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment 👍
Good idea
It was a lot of fun to put together. Thanks for stopping by and commenting 🙂
Jeff, that was a really awesome DIY! I loved it! I think it would be really cool if you could do other DIY projects that is an improvement on the As Seen On TV products you reviewed! Great video!!
Lol. I may have to think of trying that. Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment 🙂
Way to go, Jeff. Love it.
Why do you not have more subscribers? This is a great channel! Are you a newer channel? I will be telling my friends about your channel for sure. If they need a visual for DIY I will tell them to go to your channel first. Thanks for the great videos! 👍 we have those go fans on clearance at our Walmart store lolo
Those were amazing!!Fave was probably the Vornado. Wonder about recycling 2ltr bottles for ice? “Cool” video!!❤️
I like the Vornado one too. I've tried it with bigger water bottles and they do a better job of staying frozen longer. Thanks for stopping by and commenting 👍
I the this diy of yours is damn cool ,,, no pun intended 😜😜😜😜😬🧊🧊🥶🥶☃️❄️🌨️😅 I am going to make my own now....thanks Jeff... from Shawn in Montreal Quebec Canada 🇨🇦
Lol. It was pretty cool 😎 🥶 . It was a lot of fun to build. Part of the success of this type of cooler is the strength of the fan. If you end up building one let us know how it went. 👍
Your DIY vornado is obviously the better one and bigger surface, more air space for chilling.
These devices were typically design for off grid type environments where power is limited like camping, vans, tents, power outage, area cooler for mechanics, shed shop or outdoor events you can't control humidity but use water to remove heat from the air..I have a video for low power consumption coolers..12 watts
I'm a fan of these designs...very convenient. Thanks for stopping by and commenting 👍
Awesome video love using swamp coolers. I saw online a product called Icybreeze same concept but it’s actually a portable Air Conditioner. I’m saving to get one of those. Seen some reviews on UA-cam that it’s worth it plus it comes with a battery too so you can go take it with you camping
Blowing 77* is one thing...but what about the temp in the space/room???
Awesome
You failed to show the temp across the room. So how is your better other than being bigger?
Couldn't I fill the cooler with maybe 75/80 % water, and the hard big block of ice might not melt so fast, and it would mabee Last alot longer
Would Gallons of frozen water last longer than the bottles?
I’d pay you to build that for me! Lol! I have one of those Artic Air tall coolers, it doesn’t do squat!
Lol. I was pretty disappointed with the Arctic Air coolers. Thanks for sharing your thoughts 👍
Cool 😎
Lol, and in the summer, it keeps me cool. Ha. Thanks for stopping by and commenting 😎 👍
I made something similar using ice packs and a cheap USB fan, I made a lid out of cardboard so I could reuse the container. All scavenged supplies so it cost me nothing, I called it my 'Hobo AC'.
Hi Jeff, can you build me a nice one for my Honda civic🚗 I'm an Uber driver here in Sacramento is hot😡
How much $..
I think what you made is far more efficient than any of those products.
