Audi RS 3 Sets New Nürburgring Record with Preproduction Model

Audi Sport driver Frank Stippler shattered the Nürburgring-Nordschleife lap record for compact cars with a 7:33.123-minute run in a preproduction RS 3. This remarkable achievement underscores the enhanced agility and cornering precision of the RS 3, featuring refined brake torque vectoring and a sophisticated torque splitter. Powered by a legendary 400 PS five-cylinder engine, the RS 3's performance is further bolstered by Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R tires, a 19-inch ceramic brake system, and adaptive RS sports suspension. The upgraded RS 3 will be available for order at the end of August and hit dealerships in October.
