My biggest complaint about this game is that they expected you to headbang this fast while still paying enough attention to survive the chaos happening on-screen.
Okay, I just came from listening to Heartwork by Carcass and yes, it's literally almost the exact same song. Awesome that it ended up on a Nintendo console in the 90's, haha!
Faint memories of my mom making a very concerned face hearing this beautiful chanting coming from our TV while I was blasting through the track as a wee little boy Good times
yeah the fact that they did this in midi is just fucked. there is an album of f-zero music by the original composer as originally intended too, go check it out. it's called f-zero arrange or something like that.
@@beardalaxy Technically it's not directy midi - much of it was done with sequencing combined with complex VSTs. To this day nobody has the OG midi files.
I don't have a driver licence, so i'd say, a weird vehicle that i would build myself with some crazy rocket on the back, and of course a audio device to blast this song out loud 🤘🤘
@@BerserkerKong02 I mean could be both, just depends on how you hear it. I could totally see this being a Dimmu Borgir track from their In Sorte Diaboli and Abrahadabra days though, with just a bit of minor tweaking, particularly in sections like 1:44
@@BerserkerKong02 Ah ok. I'll be honest and say I didn't know any of the intricacies behind the different genres. I was more or less thinking in that specific section "Hey, some of the vocal stuff that Dimmu Borgir does would work great in this spot." Thanks for clarifying though
not sure what the lyrics are but i always thought they were: Gooooo Faaaast Watch yourself Dieeee. To me it makes sense, since the stage this song plays on is literally a straight away with a crap ton of speed boosts... so I always assumed the lyrics were a nod to TravelingFasterThanLight AKA time travel, so you could watch yourself die.

I do it no trouble but I actually play death metal lmao
*headbanging intensifies*

Lyrics:
"Don't you......

Still blowing my mind that Nintendo actually let them put a DEATH METAL track on one of their games. Love it, lol
I'm blown away they did metal and hard rock in Nintendo game
It's a rip off of carcass, heartwork
Yup.
Straight up melodeath

This sounds like heartwork by carcass
totally heartwork from carcass
it must have garnared some inspiration from carcass heartwork. i refuse to believe otherwise
Nice catch, that song is 🔥
I came here to say this
LITERALLY about to say this then I saw your comment. 100% Carcass.
Fits so perfectly when someone yells at each other
At this moment, F-Zero became mETAL!
I headbanged so hard I became a Silent Hill monster.
GOOOOO....
FAST....

I hear "Go, Fast, Watch yourself, Go" lol
I always wondered what the voice was saying
It's
"Don't you...........
Fall.....................
Watch yourself..
Doom................."
@@PalKibaI think it's actually
Don't....
Fall....
Watch yourself....
Doom...
@@PalKibawhoever, the second word sounds more like "fast" than "fall" so I would say the commenter is right.

Best Track, with Best Name!!
Melodic death metal
This song sounds like Heartwork of Carcass
This belongs in Doom
This song is perfect when you are driving in a Dodge Hellcat Demon going at max speed in the highway. Tell me what car you would drive with this song
When did they combine the hellcat and the demon?

Sounds like most of the black metal I listen to tbh.

Who tf had the idea to put speed metal into a nintendo fun racer? No way they Nintendo would have the balls to do this nowadays
I want to hear this during a Nascar or an F1 race
