Glad you like the video! I'm not aware of a way to do this, but maybe someone else might be able to advise? There is certainly a frontend gradebook shortcode ([ld_gradebook]) but I believe this is restricted to admins/group leaders, so wouldn't work with students - however there may be developer hooks that can be used to open this up.
