Your training is really good, having done something similar myself. However, trying to catch somebody who knows what they are doing, and is driving a car with significantly better performance and handling is going to be very difficult if not impossible even for the best trained drivers.
With a car that hot the best thing to do is back off and wait until it runs out of fuel or stops (you can also try stinging it), because realistically you arent going to be able to safely put a box stop on it.
Its a nice car, its quick, but not quick enough to catch the Audi. I'm pretty confident the only thing catching it is the helicopter or a spike strip 🤣

I'd give it a run Ben, i cut my teeth on RS2000 Escorts and RS3100 Capris, so oversteer is second nature even at racing speeds. Add in several years of club racing and i now run a near 700hp XFR. I think the poor Stinger might struggle if i decided to drop the pedal, especially with the weight penalty all the police gear imposes. Not that i would of course but theoretically!
Ha ha I like it. But unfortunately you have to abide by the rules and laws of the road, and tell that to all the RS6, SVRs, Evo 7’s, Ferrari and Lamborghinis, M140s we’ve caught as they’ve crashed at the first corner ha ha. Everyone’s all mouth until it happens then when we’re say 3 inch from your rear end at 100mph plus, the bottle soon goes.

I suspect most of those types have absolutely no idea about 'feel' or feedback if you like from the tyres and suspension of a vehicle. Give any of them an old RS3100 and a wet roundabout you would be scraping them up! There are some of us who can pedal a motor and know how to make big HP 4 door motors 'pick their skirts up and run'! Theoretically of course. These modern ones with paddles respond very well to 'trail braking' them in while downshifting and then feeding as much power in as they will take as soon as you see the apex. My Jag if you are in the mood and disable the traction you can still have 3/4 of a twist of opposite on 100yrds from the apex (on a track of course)! Trouble is these toey motors have become cheap enough to get into the hands of those to young to know, and those who can afford them new generally have not had the experience to handle them.
1800kgs, all im saying
You know that kia stinger is not very good top gear tested it and it didn't handle very well and it's 2 tonnes
Seemed to review very well, top gear died long time ago
Ahh Kia, German engineering at a south Asian price
Stinger exhaust sounds like a tin can, like most these days.
Finally something to tell rubbish drivers to not hog middle lane
It’s too big and too heavy to catch a fast hot hatch with good driver!
Majority of chases are going to be residential areas with tight roads and in that situation small and lightweight is better and faster.
Just stick with the old evo’s & scoobies, tax payer will be better off too.
Shitbags are rarely all that good at driving, though.
Ken Dodd, Gerry and the Pacemakers, Billy J Kramer and the Dakotas, the Searchers... be ashamed!
It's a semi-fast car given its weight, guy's talking like it's a McLaren.
Nice looking car, just wish is wasn’t called a Kia !
Typical stupid comment
Is it worth risking other innocent people in a high speed pursuit?Just to catch someone with a bit of weed who will get a suspended sentence, you’ve had a collision with a family of 4.
Even if you did catch that 1 drugs mule, there’s 1000 other kids who will just take his place the next day. Has the “war on drugs” made any difference or are drugs still available.
I think the BMW M340i is faster
How about just buy a Kia stinger lol
That car can go over twice the national speed limit. Are Merseyside police really spending money wisely????
OH yes 😁
Money wasted on this show car. While they ignore hundreds of reported crimes. Phone up to say your house has been burgled or your business has been robbed and the police let the victims down.
Why cant the police have a Mini JCW, that will be a proper car ❤❤❤
You feeling ok
Lack of boot space is one reason
I bet you can fit a load of kit in the back
You must be joking..! That's not a proper Mini, it's bigger than a sodding Maxi..! Alec Issigonis must be rolling in his grave 😡
South Yorkshire police have
I say BMWs are still better.
I like how they think it’s a high powered car. This is kids play.
Hit the nail on the head there sir, so many 4 wheel drive cars that would just gap them and if it was wet they totally screwed.
This is what watching 1000bhp youtube builds does to people. It keeps up with 99% of cars on the road though, 350 brake is plenty quick enough
the average hp for cars on UK roads is between 100-200, so it is 100% a high powered car.
Even my mums car is 280bhp I had a 200bhp car when I was 21 I'm 41 now and lots of cars make way more than 200bhp a 2 litre BMW makes that and its low engine power compared to the 3 litre which is BMW best engine.
A rear drive Kia is a rubbish choice it's got to be 4 wheel drive to put the power down, a s3 Audi would leave it in the wet on the twisty roads, poor choice but I bet Kia did a deal and that's why they got it
It is a high powered car - and don't forget the police drivers have better training than some spotty little herbert in a remapped shopping hatchback.
Good looking car, but the taillights looks like they came off of a Dodge Charger
The pre facelift version has much better unique tail lights, not sure why they went for light bars like most new cars now
Ano its over 400bhp. got me speeding doing 110 in me sprinter 😂
