Hey man great video. I have a BF130a4 that’s in need of a starter and I’m wondering how this aftermarket one is holding up. Let me know!
So far so good - no issues yet. But recommended sealing it like the factory does.
Change mine last summer and this summer got the same problem with a starter got from Amazon
Yeah starting to have issues with mine too. The cheap stuff off Amazon just can’t hold up to saltwater. Going to have to bite the $$$$ bullet and get the Honda brand starter.

Hey, having some troubles with my BF75 suspecting a bad earth somewhere. What’s the best way to crank the engine and bypass the key. Would it be going straight to the starter a possibility ? Just to diagnose my issue.
Thanks
Personally I would use a multimeter to test continuity of your motor/starter ground to the negative terminal on your battery cable.
Hello my friend I'm contacting you because I have a problem with my engine I've seen several of your videos but my mechanic can't find the failure my starter makes noise but doesn't start the engine what do you think it is
On this I thank you for having a happy holiday season🎉
Hard to say without seeing or hearing what it’s doing. Could be a lots of things. I would think a mechanic should be able to diagnose and fix the problem.
