I work as a courier in Toronto (Uber/Doordash/Skip), and yesterday April 23 between 9:30 pm and 10 pm, my Inmotion L9 was stolen at 60 John Street - Toronto. I reported online to the police, but I am reaching out to every page on the internet to report the robbery. The Inmotion L9 is a kind of brand new scooter, and the thief is going to need to buy a charger that is different from the others charges or try to sell the scooter online. I can recognize my scooter, and I will keep this ad on till I find it. So please, do not buy properties without a receipt. Not something like a scooter which was introduced to the market 4 months ago. Every scooter has its own internal code. If you download the Inmotion App the code of my scooter is L9-B108001F. If you see something, please, reach out. I am going to pay a reward of C$300 for having it back.
I'm very curious about the range test. I ordered one and am waiting to get one. I have a Ninebot MAX now and did several range tests. I'm going to compare it to my Ninebot MAX to see how well it does against it.
Good review. Like everything about it except the non-adjustable handlebar. My L9 was shipped and in transit. I have been researching electric scooters for a while and was going to buy the Max or Emove Touring/Cruising but got more value for my money on this one. Needed something that had enough torque to climb hills.
I feel the same way about hills. I want to be able to climb a trail or path if I need to. It may not matter much to others, they may care more about speed, but I want good range and climbing ability.
I am ashamed to say but I got scammed by a chinese company via false advertising. I thought I was buying the L9 but received a manual push scooter arg lol. My loss for not realizing the L9 was new and didn't even ship yet. Trying to work out a resolution with the seller. Be careful when buying stuff, the website looked legit but I should have known. Hope you'all can learn from my blunder. On the good side, I bought an Uberscoot 1600W 48V electric scooter. Powerful scoot and able to climb 30 degree hills with ease. max speed is about 30 mph. Price is reasonable. The only downside is range at 12 miles so plan to go lithium.
@@hscic2647 Sorry to hear that you were scammed, that's always a concern these days...fake websites. If you don't mind saying...when did you place your order with the scammer? Last month?
The Xiaomi Pro & Ninebot Max killer hehe! Glad you guys received the test unit of the L9 just like Ben Fox did! The range is a killer as you said around 35 miles = 56km in Sports mode! Some reviewers out there stated that the range varies between terrain & the riders payload so I heard from Alien rides his range lasted less than 30km which is due to the amount of hill inclines in San Francisco. Odd that the turning is a bit difficult than its competitors w/o any suspensions but that's caused by the front-fork suspension & the taller stem which is not ideal for short riders under 5.5" inches. You forgot to compare this to Ninebot Max's as well since both have 10" inch tyres but the L9 beats it in every way except the weight & size lol. Won't sell as much as Xiaomi or Ninebot but hey its only for the enthusiasts out there hehe! 😁🛴
yo man we need 220 pounds, 40 miles flat surface 15 mph - 18 mph swappable battery meaning you reach 40 miles with one battery. insert battery Two . and come back. 40 is about most cities. that way we can go to work with this.
Oh by the way guys! Xiaomi has announced the successor to the Xiaomi Pro & the M365 called the Mi e-scooter Pro 2 + Mi e-scooter 1S e-scooters, and they also announced the cheaper version of the e-scooter 1S called the Mi e-scooter Essential too! Also, Xiaomi will release a special addition of the Mi e-scooter Pro 2 dubbed the Mercedes AMG F1 edition too, will be unveiled soon! 😁🛴 Anyway, both or should I say 3 revised models have made improvements from their predecessors in key areas: + Proper mud flap/rear fender support + mud flap extension for the number plate + Cable refinements (inside & outside) + More reflectors (front-side-back) + Larger & brighter rear tail lights (now reflector) + 2w brighter headlights (slightly angled) + 8.5" inch new Pneumatic tyres that are 3x more durable than previous-gen + Improved KERS (Kinetic Energy Recovery System) + Dash board improvements (LCD screen) + New 5km/hr Pedestrian mode (replaces old Eco mode) + Dual brake levers (for Euro/German markets) + Improved brakes What do you think? In the end the Pro2 is a piece of shyt and has even less range than the old Xiaomi Pro, i sold my Pro to get the new Pro2 and man what a disappoint, they basically improved some useless stuff like fender support few reflectors and thats it...Absolute ripoff and with all the new scooters getting released no one sane in his mind would be these crappy scooters....
I would like to see a full range test. A few other testers on youtube said from full to 0 they got about 30 miles out of it, which is only slightly more than most other scooters on the market. Not to say it isn't impressive, just to say 60 miles isn't feasible or realistic in real-world traffic and usage and can be misleading since it's only achieved under perfect conditions. Thanks
This scooter already had a range test from electric-scooter.guide, it only got 31 miles, big difference from their claimed 60 😂 buy the smaller fluid free ride for 700 faster better scooter, or the emove cruiser, i just bought the Apollo Explore 😎👍
I looked at the Fluid Free, and a lot of others, but they aren't strong climbers. The L9 climbs a 30% incline easily. Some e-scooters struggle to climb a 15% grade. Even with a 31 mile range, the L9 still does better than a lot of other commuters I looked into. They mention a range test in this video 3:56
I bought an L9 this month. I haven't done a complete range test, but my last excursion I was on track to 40 miles...in "drive" mode...which is the middle speed mode. So, mine gets much better range than 31 miles.
That ufo dash looks ugly AF if I'm being honest, I also don't understand why it doesn't go over 40km/hr, it goes as fast as a 350w ninebot just has more torque, hopefully there is custom firmware to change that.
LOL. I have been airborne twice at 25 mph, ended up sliding and rolling on asphalt...not a fun deal. Palms torn off my gloves, clothes ripped... plus bloody road rash. I got up and felt like I was on fire. It hurt. I wouldn't go over 20 mph on a scooter even if the scooter could do 40 mph. This scooter does 19.0 mph, which is plenty... for commuting anyway.

After 1100km now, the range stays quite good, it has a good amount of power and it's sturdy, the handlebars never came loose.

On a smooth flat glass road surface with a 150 lb rider possible. There is no standardized testing of these scooters.
Do you have to kickstart it?
Nice video with amazing products!
I thought the L9 just had a 500W motor?

What kind of tires does it have?
10 inch tubeless
