Mate the videos of you and Eddie are brilliant you both make a good team 💪Eddie is one of the best strongman to of lived But I also think you could be the best mma fighter You put alot of heart into everything you do man Also I'm a new fan didn't know of you till I watched Eddie's videos
Keep on producing good content. You have great chemistry! He can teach you weight lifting (not like you need it) and you will continue to teach him MMA techniques. I'll watch them all :P.
This is a perfect showing of why there are weight classes. Back when I fought I was doing flat not inlice dumbells at 65 lbs (30 kg) in set of 12, 10, 8 reps at 170 lbs body weight (77 kg) and I was a lot stronger than a lot of people I saw in the gym that were heavier than me. Tom doesn't even try to do this as part of his training and he's still proportionately stronger than I was
Thats a decent weight for 77kg ,,im 79kg and can bang out 7 reps with 70Ib dumbells at 62 yrs old training at home ,problem is getting them up off the floor and in position on your own ,people dont realise how heavy a 30kg dumbell is if they dont lift .
@@manfrombritain6816 thats not true, he trains strength 1x per week, doing things like shoulder presses, pushups with 50-75kg extra weight on his back, and weighed pull ups. those exercises build strength. especially when done over a long period of time with consistency.
i respect fighters like Tom but he is 100% on HGH and most likely on other things like TRT. HGH is 100% necessary to get the body structure capable of being at the top athlete You can't be natural and beat all the other gifted and talented men that are abusing PEDs
Looking good champ! Loving these videos with eddie, good to see you both getting out of your comfort zone. Excited to see where you take rhe channel in future!
S and C is worried that Tom might get injured and Tom's dad thinks it's useless. Both are right but it's interesting to see different worlds collide for us viewers.
@@dinkin_flicka14how is he right that it’s useless? Kinda disrespectful to bodybuilders and weightlifting has numerous health benefits. Not everything has to be in the context of a fight lmao
@@dinkin_flicka14Spot on his dad and his coach know what he needs to keep him at the top of his game,Tom is naturally strong he doesn't need this dick measuring shite.
you are an inspiration Tom, so humbly and you can tell, just a good guy all the way through.. I cheer for you here from Denmark, definitly my favorite MMA fighter for sure.. I can't wait for the future glory you will get..
4:15 thats the thing about strongman, i think its more dangerous than pro bodybuilding, with all the food they eat and how they train, if i was a strongman I'd be paranoid all the time about how healthy my organs are
I feel so bad for Eddie and Brian Shaw. Contracts are signed. The promotion canceled the MMA match with the strongman. I’m not surprised, because there was no advertisement for it whatsoever. It just stinks because they were training really hard taking time away from their family and businesses to prepare.
DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAmn. You absolutely are a strong guy. Do you think if you lifted more weights regularly that it would translate into striking power, or are you afraid that if you start to put on pounds and lifting heavier that you would lose some speed and power? Because I am a rly small guy, but have always advocated that skill beats power and size if you hit your target right.
Your coach was worried that you would get injured. But dont worry. I'm assuming you're a natural athlete when i say this. It's not that much of a concern for you. Your tendons wont get messed up. Tendons break when people are on steroids. On steroids muscle gets stronger a lot faster than the tendons, thus the muscle can handle the loads, and when the tendons can't. That's when it happens. In case of a natural athlete tendons do get a lot of time to get stronger, so it's very rare to get tear any tendons. So you don't have to worry about it :)
don't watch UFC often, but tom aspinall is has to be one of the better one's out there, no flash/bravado/ego.. just getting it done and keeping strong. Jon Jones is a good fighter but the dope game really hurt his image imo. Seeing eddy hall and tom smashing them weights and being light about it is rather motivating.
Watched Eddie's version of this the other day Fairplay to you mate💪 keep smashing it!! Size doesn't always mean strong either... you can be built like a brick shit house from lifting 20kg weights everyday Anatoly is a massive inspiration for me, got incredible strength for his size 💪👌 I'm small and somewhat skinny, never dedicated myself to the gym except for home work out But can lift 120 kg rolls of the floor and walk with them(bear hugging the roll) Can also get a 80 kg roll on my shoulder and I weight 60kg on a good day 😂
I've got a mate the same we used to go to the gym on a very odd occasion we were two stone heavier than him and it wasent fat. He could match us and we were strong, on the lat pulldown he used to wrap his legs round the bench to do the same weight as us !!!
hey guys, next time take advantage of dumbbells (better range of motion) and go lower (until u are touching outer area of your pecs!). Maybe/propably with lower weight.
I worry that too much of this is going to be very detrimental to your training, having family from Atherton and being being from Horwich myself i really want to see you have a great run in the UFC.
I don't think Tom realises how preposterous his strength actually is... even on a machine to be pressing 240kg for 2 reps when he hasn't trained for strength is just ridiculous. it's kinda demoralising just how much difference genetics make
Crazy impressive considering that Tom doesn't lift and his build as well. He's a genetic freak, and all the wrestling and grappling has probably build his strength as well. Considering how strong his pressing was, I think his triceps were probably just fried at the end.

I love the little bits with Andy, he really is always there for Tom and it's great to see.

That is high praise from Eddie. Tom Aspinall is built different and so is Eddie. Top tier content 🔥

The most impressive thing is that you are natural doing these kinds of weights
without even training strength before... it's insane

Love your videos with Eddie Hall, Tom! Keep them coming
Love Tom aspinall such a humble guy an equally as deadly at the same time looking forward to him becoming ufc champion
You're killing it on UA-cam recently these daily uploads are great
It's takes a videographer and multiple editors, most of the popular channels have a whole team. He's got good people around him
S&c coach is class, saying it how it is from his perspective.
Not worth getting injured completely, rate him
So good to see that. You know that dude's legit when his priority is injury prevention.

Tom should definitely work on his triceps. It's where you get your punching power from.
Push ups duhhhh you dummy

That’s crazy strength, what a freak. And that’s coming from someone that has almost 15 years of experience in training and works as a PT
His triceps were definitely just fatigued from the weight he was pushing 😂
man tom is super strong
I think Tom would be an excellent rugby player !

I am a bit like Tom because I can lift heavy without any training, even as a relatively old git in my forties.
Natural strength, we had a lad near us never touched a gym but he had phenomenal strength for his size.
