    Great lesson Michael and the right length for the point made. The left knee (and shoulder) were keys for Faldo on the downswing.
    What's a good drill/thought for this left knee/backswing concept for 40-80 yd wedge shots? Thank you! 😊

    One of the very best lessons that I have ever seen. I have been golfing for decades and have never gotten the distance off my irons that I want. I hit the ball hard but sky high and short. This video lessen is telling me that one of the keys to me getting that "forward press" to put less loft on the shot is to transition my left knee back towards the target late in the backswing to get that Sam Snead look. I have tried in the past to solve my lack of "forward press" problem with just my arms and hands. Now I understand that it is critical that I need to get my left knee involved if I am going to be able to deloft the club and get more power. I can't wait to try this out this Spring. Thanks!

    Great video!
    In the course of six months, I’ve changed my swing in irons numerous times. This video has inspired me to get back to the fundamentals.
    I’m glad you left out taxing on shallowing of the club after takeaway! I’m 42, so, I’m leaving learning to shallow to the pros.

    I want to say thank you. I have been trying to get the right feel for this for sometime. I have been struggling with distance consistency with my irons. My driver is fine but irons I was not getting onto my lead side the same every swing if that makes sense.
    Anyway I also wanted to say I listen to your show everyday.
    Thank you, Cheers.

      Nice one once again Michael, what about the driver when you have to hit upwards,I guess must be quite similar but you have to stay behind the ball or have to slow down the transition??? 🤔

    Is it me or does your left shoulder go Down at same time as lower body movement ?

    I've been struggling with flipping at impact and analyzing my swing compared to tour players, I noticed my left knee gets out past my foot. Also I don't have as much rotation as they do at impact position. Is the lead knee position something to look for when analyzing a swing? It seems like this PVC aid is something I need.

    Michael what’s more important ball speed or club head speed? Thanks

    • @michaelbreed
      @michaelbreed  3 місяці тому

      Ultimately, ball speed. However, club head speed creates potential ball speed.

    You are a good teacher and have a good setup. You have got to get these videos down in length.! Get to the point! 30 minutes is about 5 times longer than it should be..

    lol 30 degree 6 iron, what is this 1995? 7 irons are 27 degrees now. what a crazy world.

      The 6 Iron on the Titleist T-100 is 30 degrees. The 6 iron on the Titleist T-200 is 27 degrees. They do have some stronger options with the T350, and T400.
