I know I am the vocal minority in saying this, but I wish you wouldn't compare this to CTR:NF. This is a passion project made for free by a small team, where as CTRNF was a "corporate" project, which makes the intentions different. Of course, given enough time, Beenox would have certainly added more features like those found in this re-make to CTRNF, but unfortunately support for that game dropped fairly soon after release for reasons outside the control of the developers. What I'm saying is, by comparing to NF (usually in a negative way), you're kind of discrediting all of the hard work put into that game by the devs. Both games are fantastic and should both be praised for different reasons. Anyways, great playing as always, I'm really into this project and am loving seeing it come together! Cheers!
Thats very fair! The comparison is usually meant to be praise for the OG Online as the fact that a passion project has come this far when compared to whats out there is truly incredible, but I certainly understand where your coming from, and thank you!

Does your game freeze whenever you try to leave a race or change character / track? This happens to me every single time I try to do this when in a race by myself
@@L1NGZCTR that's not yet possible bc there isn't a pc port of the game. But the people who did this are making a pc version but we're at 70%ish of the coding and all being done. It's a long process of rewriting all the code and such. Keep in the know and hopefully we'll get it soon
The biggest issue wirh ctr online is how it is not casual friendly. You can’t really have fun unless you’re a speed runner or someone who uses every exploit available
I mean you can have fun if you don't take it seriously? Or try to learn what people are doing. The people who know about the game mostly are people who've been following or playing for long periods of time. You cant complain people who play the game and know how it works use that to their advantage
The only thing I want to see added is selectable builds for characters like in Sonic All-Stars racing. Let's say I just wanted to play pura for some God forsaken reason but I select acceleration stats so I'm not at a severe disadvantage.
I mean, in this patch all of the characters have max speed and acceleration but their turn stats are the same, so there's not a huge need for an engine swapper
At 2:00 he has an uka even though you said items were disabled. How? Edit: Was that guy actually cheating? I haven't watched the whole hour long video yet.
@@tubewatcher7687Is that how it works in online ctr? Because the mask that saves you in regular ctr disappears the instant it puts you back on the track, you don't get a "few second mask".
Like the ones in Polar Pass and Oxide Station? Idk, I can pull them off sometimes and I like the challenge behind it. CTR was never a fair game to begin with, but I see your point, it must be frustrating for less skilled players.
@Nero_PR Ah I agree with Maximo. Maybe a toggle to turn off illegal shortcuts that patches them out. I like to think I'm pretty good at CTR but I've never bothered learning the skips because I enjoy actually racing the track

I don't know what you're talking about NF is a near perfect game it's just going to end up like Mario Kart Wii where only try hard play the game if I could only afford PlayStation Plus I will keep playing it I don't know how people emulate rom it risky I don't want virus on my computer

Honestly i prefer the no skips races. Would love to see this as a game mode if the modders are able to fix the unintended skips.

After you go out of bounds, you spawn with a few second mask always.
could've been visual bug, probably because he failed that jumponce, respawned and then went backwards for another try, doubt it was cheating
