I really don't get why people get annoyed when different characters talk to you in asb and eoh when it's really charming for me and I've played eoh for around a year now and it doesn't get boring. It can sometimes make me day hearing Speedwagon talking to me in the menu while I'm thinking of what gamemode to play! Edit: I'm still alive
7th Stand User is a really great fanmade Jojo RPG game, with original characters, stands and multiple endings. I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys Jojo.

The secret factors are actually actions that were preformed in the manga/anime. Like during the fight with Bruno in the first stage you get points for stand shooting him, which re-enacts the part when Bruno experienced GEs slowdown effect.

All Star Battle was a wonderful experience. Playing online was always a treat because it seemed like most people just wanted to have fun with other JoJo fans. I'd love to see it come back, especially if they did like a Street Fighter style update that tweaked everything, added more characters (especially from Part 8), and maybe added a new mode or something. Basically something between a remake and a sequel.

I imagine the entirety of the Part 8 content will be new, including several more characters. Hoping there will be one or two more Part 7 characters, as well. ;D

Trust me, the Vanilla Ice boss fight in HFTF is the easiest fight ever, you can do a roll command by pressing all 3 button attacks to avoid any type of damage
Just got this in my recommended, I’m glad it was able to reach a wider scope of people because I enjoyed it. Also if you press light medium and heavy at the same time (Heritage for the future) you can do a roll and I’m not sure if that will help against vanilla ice, (Or just jump)
Yeah that covers all the licensed games, good job. Also the video quality was quite good, that's great also, I didn't feel like I just spent 20 minutes. Also Hirohiko Araki did not write JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Eye's of Heaven's story, he just supervised it and gave it the okay.

I am honestly a fan of JoJo: Eyes of Heaven and really wish one day that it gets a remake or animated adaptation. If EOH does get a remake or reboot (or whatever) they need to make where you start off Part 1 and through the Part before Araki inevitably dies normally, until you unlock the Eyes of Heaven story, which is the original EOH but expanded and more explained in terms of the multiverse concept in the JoJo universe. Also, this is just me, but rather than Jotaro beating Dio at the end should be Jonathan Joestar in the remake/reboot, but with a new Stand to help Jonathan beat Dio. In a nutshell, Jonathan should be the one to defeat Dio as a way to say "This is payback for killing me in the original time-line and for everyone that you've threatened and killed." as a callback to Parts 1 and 3 when Dio was a major threat in those parts. I don't mind Jotaro being depicted as the one to gain another ability and defeat Dio, I just think Jotaro upgrading to Over Heaven would make him too OP since he already has the ability to stop time.

Plus, Over Heaven DIO should have recuperated his previous vampiric abilities as well as the potent regeneration he had back in Part 1, making a fight by phases (initially , Jotaro cripples The World Over Heaven, but DIO uses his eye beams to injure Jotaro in a cheap shot... and thus starts the final round between him and Jonathan, who has to finish him off before he gets the use of his hands back...)
Update: In early fall, there is a new jjba game coming out for the Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo switch, and Steam. It's called Jojo's Bizarre adventure: All Star Battle R (it looks really clean so It is a remastered)
Sadly arcades nowadays aren't popular at all in the west, only Japan. I'd bet Namco Bandai (Or whoever published the game) didn't want to risk spending money shipping out all these arcade cabinets. If only it got PC or console release or even mobile

I love the detail that hamon users can walk on the spikes in the pit without taking damage if i remember correctly. Also loved time stopping with dio and throwing them and waiting for them to just go flying. Was a big fan of eyes of heaven honestly

(Not counting his HHA) Stand on DIO is the one you're gonna be relying on to rack up the damage. Then you have non stand users >Hamon users (Young Joseph, Caesar, William, Lisa Lisa) While not having an alternative mode, they can charge their hamon, filling up the HHA/GHA Meter, the meter can also be spent to power up attacks, with hamon variants of moves typically being pretty good. >Pillarmen Pillarmen do have an alternative mode, however it doesn't change their moveset, rather, it adds effects to their attacks, I'm Not 100% sure but i believe kars is faster, esidisi adds fire to their attacks, and wamuu...idek. >Spin/horse (Gyro) The horse style is just about the only other Mode-changing style in the game, with gyro, it allows him to swap between his grounded mode that has him trying to trip up the opponent, to the horse mode, that has him performing powerful horse-based attacks that usually knock down the opponent alongside having heavy damage. Spin/horse(even in Johnny's case): Gets rid of ground-based moves in favor of slower, more powerful horse attacks
For the Vanilla ice lvl, he moves in a pattern in a way, so back into a corner and time jumps, if you are good. You will just combo him to death. (The young Joseph Joestar thing is a reference to the plane part in part 2)
I've played Jojo's Pitter Patter Pop at day 1, it's a great gacha puzzle game that has a lot of strategy, theres no real story in the game though when part 5 was airing, they were slowly releasing characters/teasing characters each week when a new one came out (same with the Rohan OVA), each character had their own skill that would can be charged while in game, each skill has their own fancy animations (and sometimes voice lines!) but the real main reason most people stayed playing it was doing Score Attacks, basically competing to get the highest score on a 2 week fight, people had strategies and metas kept on changing, it was fun though sometimes it really limits players since you'd need to have high level characters (ie getting lucky with gacha drops) tho there was a great community that had a bunch of guides with tutorials and such. Sadly i stopped playing when they released "stickers", another layer to minmax unit on to get the highest possible damage, at that point i got too lazy to farm them so i just gave my account and stopped, it was really fun though, seeing new characters get released and seeing if their abilities break the meta or not, sad to see that it has closed down, was one of its kind, if you want more info about it, the Jojowiki has every character in it, and theres a channel called "Dimes 4 Crimes" which had a lot about pitter patter pop.
Pitter Patter Pop easily had the best longevity among anime mobile games in general, gameplay was fun, cute, had a bunch of great mechanics that didn bore you and it had a ton of characters with voicelines and abilities that need you to think to fully take advantage of them. Only complaint was the events being not super fun which could have been fixed if the game kept on going. The UI was super friendly unlike stardust shooters which had walls of japanese text. both were good tho
Really wish Last Survivor would be ported to PC/Console, they did such a good job with each character so far with the wide variety cast, and its cool getting to explore cairo and Morioh while trying to survive

JJBA SNES has a hard 50-day time limit once you leave Japan, which does follow the original story but is kinda beans in an RPG where you might need to grind for money and every inn refill costs you a day. The plot also takes some... liberties... like fighting Gray Fly at Jotaro's school, Strength being a mansion instead of a ship, Polnareff is a bookstore owner in Hong Kong, Devo is actually Rubber Soul in disguise, and Jotaro realizing his time stop powers by finding a magical cap in Dio's basement. Yes, really. As an RPG lover I wish it was better but it's just not lol. As for Heritage for the Future, some characters have "remote" Stands that can be controlled independently from themselves, like Devo and Kakyoin. Also it plays so well because it was made by the king of fighting games, Capcom. It basically plays identically to Street Fighter.
4:23 Just take a look at the ground to dodge that. Also one game I can say you missed out on was Diamond records, one of the mobile games that shut down. It was gacha Jojo basically but a surprisingly quality one that played like a 3D beat'em up (as in moving in every direction, not just models) it translated some characters pretty good and had content up to part 4. Sadly some higher up thought it'd be a good idea to change the gameplay to rpg of all things and a lot of players pretty much bailed. They later partially brought back the old beat'em up style and started adding part 5 content as the anime came out but by then it was too late. Oh also the drop rates were terrible, i still managed to pull a 0.001% chance Dio though lol
I love Heritage for the future and i enjoy playing it sometimes against others through fight cade, i really hope a new full fledge fighter comes out and does JoJo justice, maybe from ArcSys in their beautiful 3D style
I actually had 2: Golden Wind on PS2 and All Star Battle on PS3. Golden Wind because of how faithful it is and how fun the fights are. All Star Battle because it's straightforward and has a pretty big cast and plenty of content.

Just got this in my recommended, I’m glad it was able to reach a wider scope of people because I enjoyed it. Also if you press light medium and heavy at the same time (Heritage for the future) you can do a roll and I’m not sure if that will help against vanilla ice, (Or just jump)

Who is here after All Star Battle R?
I am honestly a fan of JoJo: Eyes of Heaven and really wish one day that it gets a remake or animated adaptation. If EOH does get a remake or reboot (or whatever) they need to make where you start off Part 1 and through the Part before Araki inevitably dies normally, until you unlock the Eyes of Heaven story, which is the original EOH but expanded and more explained in terms of the multiverse concept in the JoJo universe. Also, this is just me, but rather than Jotaro beating Dio at the end should be Jonathan Joestar in the remake/reboot, but with a new Stand to help Jonathan beat Dio. In a nutshell, Jonathan should be the one to defeat Dio as a way to say "This is payback for killing me in the original time-line and for everyone that you've threatened and killed." as a callback to Parts 1 and 3 when Dio was a major threat in those parts. I don't mind Jotaro being depicted as the one to gain another ability and defeat Dio, I just think Jotaro upgrading to Over Heaven would make him too OP since he already has the ability to stop time.

Plus, Over Heaven DIO should have recuperated his previous vampiric abilities as well as the potent regeneration he had back in Part 1, making a fight by phases (initially , Jotaro cripples The World Over Heaven, but DIO uses his eye beams to injure Jotaro in a cheap shot... and thus starts the final round between him and Jonathan, who has to finish him off before he gets the use of his hands back...)

Sadly arcades nowadays aren't popular at all in the west, only Japan. I'd bet Namco Bandai (Or whoever published the game) didn't want to risk spending money shipping out all these arcade cabinets. If only it got PC or console release or even mobile

I love the detail that hamon users can walk on the spikes in the pit without taking damage if i remember correctly. Also loved time stopping with dio and throwing them and waiting for them to just go flying. Was a big fan of eyes of heaven honestly
Great video man! One thing I wish you mentioned was the music of some of the games, since I heard some of All Star Battles ost. Couldn't vouch for the other games, but All Star Battle had a killer soundtrack.
The background music is actually a mix of ASB and EoH! But yeah, that's one thing I actually regret not having in there.

There are changes,at least on stand users, almost your entire moveset changes between stand on, and stand off mode.
Taking part 3 DIO for example:
His stand-off mode is full of movement options such as
>A move that allows you to Walk towards your opponent with some invincibility, and a light/med/heavy variant, with the heavy making Dio hit the opponent if he walks into them
>Teleport closer the opponent and strike, variants are: short, far, and fakeout
>Drink blood from the opponent (and have Dio say "this is the greatest high" if it's a joestar lol)
So stand off DIO is a bit more about getting into the position you'd like
Stand-on DIO relies heavily on The World, having only one move that actually moves you,which would be a teleport punch.
(Not counting his HHA)
Stand on DIO is the one you're gonna be relying on to rack up the damage.
Then you have non stand users

While not having an alternative mode, they can charge their hamon, filling up the HHA/GHA Meter, the meter can also be spent to power up attacks, with hamon variants of moves typically being pretty good.

Pillarmen do have an alternative mode, however it doesn't change their moveset, rather, it adds effects to their attacks, I'm Not 100% sure but i believe kars is faster, esidisi adds fire to their attacks, and wamuu...idek.
>Spin/horse
(Gyro)
The horse style is just about the only other Mode-changing style in the game, with gyro, it allows him to swap between his grounded mode that has him trying to trip up the opponent, to the horse mode, that has him performing powerful horse-based attacks that usually knock down the opponent alongside having heavy damage.
Spin/horse(even in Johnny's case):
Gets rid of ground-based moves in favor of slower, more powerful horse attacks
Fun fact about the Golden Wind game, it was made by Hideaki Itsuno who is responsible for the Devil May Cry series as of DMC2 all the way into DMC5
For the Vanilla ice lvl, he moves in a pattern in a way, so back into a corner and time jumps, if you are good. You will just combo him to death.

I've played Jojo's Pitter Patter Pop at day 1, it's a great gacha puzzle game that has a lot of strategy, theres no real story in the game though when part 5 was airing, they were slowly releasing characters/teasing characters each week when a new one came out (same with the Rohan OVA), each character had their own skill that would can be charged while in game, each skill has their own fancy animations (and sometimes voice lines!) but the real main reason most people stayed playing it was doing Score Attacks, basically competing to get the highest score on a 2 week fight, people had strategies and metas kept on changing, it was fun though sometimes it really limits players since you'd need to have high level characters (ie getting lucky with gacha drops) tho there was a great community that had a bunch of guides with tutorials and such. Sadly i stopped playing when they released "stickers", another layer to minmax unit on to get the highest possible damage, at that point i got too lazy to farm them so i just gave my account and stopped, it was really fun though, seeing new characters get released and seeing if their abilities break the meta or not, sad to see that it has closed down, was one of its kind, if you want more info about it, the Jojowiki has every character in it, and theres a channel called "Dimes 4 Crimes" which had a lot about pitter patter pop.
Pitter Patter Pop easily had the best longevity among anime mobile games in general, gameplay was fun, cute, had a bunch of great mechanics that didn bore you and it had a ton of characters with voicelines and abilities that need you to think to fully take advantage of them. Only complaint was the events being not super fun which could have been fixed if the game kept on going. The UI was super friendly unlike stardust shooters which had walls of japanese text. both were good tho
Really wish Last Survivor would be ported to PC/Console, they did such a good job with each character so far with the wide variety cast, and its cool getting to explore cairo and Morioh while trying to survive

JJBA SNES has a hard 50-day time limit once you leave Japan, which does follow the original story but is kinda beans in an RPG where you might need to grind for money and every inn refill costs you a day. The plot also takes some... liberties... like fighting Gray Fly at Jotaro's school, Strength being a mansion instead of a ship, Polnareff is a bookstore owner in Hong Kong, Devo is actually Rubber Soul in disguise, and Jotaro realizing his time stop powers by finding a magical cap in Dio's basement. Yes, really. As an RPG lover I wish it was better but it's just not lol.
As for Heritage for the Future, some characters have "remote" Stands that can be controlled independently from themselves, like Devo and Kakyoin. Also it plays so well because it was made by the king of fighting games, Capcom. It basically plays identically to Street Fighter.

I love almost all the JoJo games but Heritege for the Future is especially timeless to me. An incredibly solid fighting game.

4:23 Just take a look at the ground to dodge that. Also one game I can say you missed out on was Diamond records, one of the mobile games that shut down. It was gacha Jojo basically but a surprisingly quality one that played like a 3D beat'em up (as in moving in every direction, not just models) it translated some characters pretty good and had content up to part 4. Sadly some higher up thought it'd be a good idea to change the gameplay to rpg of all things and a lot of players pretty much bailed. They later partially brought back the old beat'em up style and started adding part 5 content as the anime came out but by then it was too late.
Oh also the drop rates were terrible, i still managed to pull a 0.001% chance Dio though lol

I actually had 2: Golden Wind on PS2 and All Star Battle on PS3. Golden Wind because of how faithful it is and how fun the fights are. All Star Battle because it's straightforward and has a pretty big cast and plenty of content.

No, I played that one on my PS3. I bought a physical copy of All Star Battle back at release but apparently it's super rare now and nearly impossible to find a physical copy. If you're in the US, it's $30 on the PSN Store, though.
