Hey Kelvin, looking to have My 2006 Crown 3uz ecu tested. Japan car now in Canada. Bought the car as a non runner no crank no start. Previous owner reversed the polarity on jumpstart and I’m having issues tracing my issues. Replaced fusible link and various relays and fuses but still no crank no start. At wits end here!
Hello everybody from Kentucky U.S.A 🐎 .. Love these vids ! Wish I knew a fraction of what this guy does .. I'm a lifelong Toyota dude , got a 97 sc400 to build for my daily driver . 1uz turbo , or hopped up 3uz all motor ?? Doing a 370z 6speed manual conversion , Supra tt rear diff .. I've subscribed to this channel , gonna keep watching for ideas , THANKS 👍🚀🚘
Hi kelvin, I have a 3uzfe Toyota crown wreck and a Toyota Cressida mx63 wagon. Is there anything you can help me with if I was to put the 3uz motor/trans into the Cressida wagon (mx63 1984) Thanks for your time!
Hi Kelvin, looking at getting my 06 facelift uzs186 ecu flashed. Is it fine to use your reflash tune with gull 98 (e10)? or would you say to avoid it? 98 is pushing close to $3/litre near me for non gull stations
Provided the correct components are applied using the correct knowledge with a suitable reflash then yes. So.matching correct ecu with engine is important. Generally the amount of work involved makes it not worth the hassle. Cheers Kelvin
@@CartuneNZ Roger that mate. With headers and 3 inch exhaust my cruiser is running rich. Especially at startup. I've considered an aftermarket ECU to take care of it or a piggyback. What would you recommend for an otherwise NA donk?
Ok, the 3uz ecu may not control the landcruiser transmission, the engine isnt an issue. I wouldn't bother with any stock ecu instead I'd go directly to a aftermarket ecu which does both engine and transmission.
Ive run plenty of 3uz ecus on early 1uz vvti engines. Ensure throttle body is correct, and generally we swap coils, later 3uz have different knock sensors and injector colour too.
I’m torn between building a N/A non vvti 1UZ vs. a vvti 3UZ for my Gen 3 4Runner (surf). The 1UZ seems to be indestructible and an easier swap. But the 3UZ seems to have so much more power! I’m torn!
I definitely have limits, seems my test truck may have experienced a demon possessed ecu and finally expired, good news however the custom bellhousing has arrived for its engine transplant.

How do I contact you to send out ecu to get replashed ?
I have a 2001 lexus Gs430 where can I find a rebuild and flashed ecu
Generally we are rebuilding your ecu and flashing it
I was just looking for info. Wanting to build a sc430 project
Cool

Can flash a tune to handle gull 98 just fine.
Can a 3uz ECU be used to run an early 2uz with 6 wire throttle body?

When are you available for ECU needing to be flashed and reprogrammed...where do i send it too...06 gs430...
We are back at work from the 17th Jan but best wait a week after that. I just had a GS430 engine delivered. Cheers Kelvin
@@CartuneNZ okay cool whats the address i need to send it too...
Can a 3uz ecu run a 98 engine. Is there much differents in them apart from throttle and 300cc

@@CartuneNZ is there much power difference in the 3uz when they have been re-flashed
Yes, slightly more topend but greater improvement in the mid range. Throttle response also improved and better transmission shifts too

You will see far more fresh swaps from me with 3uz.
Kelvin, last time I flashed I got charged with public nudity ;)
Only illegal if you get caught. Haha. Cheers
Couldn't flash more compression into number 2? Seems like your tuning abilities have limits after all! Cheers

@@CartuneNZ Outstanding. Life's full of ups and downs

same could be said for a girlfriends cycle , late is very bad when unplanned.
