@@Slayerx2010definitely not stew. In the West Indies stew must have a meat base. Stew chicken, stew beef, stew pork. The meat is stewed that’s what makes it stew. Shit like onions and small pieces of fat or bacon could never be considered a stew lmao. That’s literally just what they called it--sauce😭
As shown in the video, it's important to put the garlic in after the onions have caramelized, as garlic has low water content and would burn by the time the onions are done if you put them in at the same time.
@elizabethdalton-jandreau5588 ale is probably too bitter by the time you've reduced it. Even an pretty friendly blonde can be bitey in a pan sauce. Especially as its the major liquid here.
I've made this 2 times now. It's fantastic. Very good with Veal tenderloin. It is relatively cheap here as the Italian community tends to overlook it. Make sure you get grain, not dairy fed. Or it will taste and look like pork
I made this sauce the other night for my wife, did it with asparagus, potato puree and grilled ribeye. The sauce was an absolute game changer…. Thanks so much for sharing this with us
Hey... although it is missing the parsley, and i ise herbs de Provence.. this is my own favourite homemade sauce for so many things. Even used it in a spaghetti sauce, as a sort of stock to add. And I use at least 3 times the amount of bacon.. super rich and tasty Edit* I shall call it Sauce Morti
Oh!! Fantastic that I found this channel. Well, it actually found me but never the less that's perfect! I always have problems with sauces. I hope this will help.
Can't lie. This series is excellent. Been cooking for a living for a while and I love it
Absolutely. Come home from a 12hr shift cooking and still love watching these guys. Also RIP Mitten Squad.
RIP paul
Just came by to pay my respects to the hands that work hard preparing all them meals for a living, thank you for your service
RIP Paul, Mitten Squad forever
Isnt it stressful asf ?
I want that served at my funeral as a reminder to everyone of why they are about to bury me
Underrated comment 😂
Grim
🏆
Then the fellow friends who came to attend your funeral do the same. The sauce is later known as "Killer Sauce"
This is not bad compared processed foods and over sugared items
I need all of the sauces. Sauce Robert, Michael, Joey, frank:..all of em.

seems like onion soup but more concentrated.
You put reduced beef stock, vinegar, mustard, bacon, cold butter and lime in your onion soup? Are you a m*r*n?
I mean if you really think about, most sauces are just reduced soup lol
No, most soups are diluted sauces 😅😂😅@@guerillawhite3083
Will you make a playlist of these sauces please ?
Honestly was thinking the same thing…please do 👍🏽
You can make your own playlist?😊
It would be so nice ;)
Leave a like if you want the playlist as well guys 🔥
I’m a sauce kind of girl. Dips, gravies, condiments of all sorts - count me in. This one is right up my alley.

Saving this recipe for the next time I make steal
Second short i seen from this channel and im subbing in. This is ridiculously good
Robert's sauce is so delicious!!
I always love it when my tummy is filled to the brim with his warm sauce 😋 😋
The one thing I've learnt from this series:
Emulsify with cold butter
THAT'S a sauce!
One of the few chefs in a short that actually caramelized their onions XD
I'm glad I subscribed, I don't half love a good sauce and this is a new one for me to try!
Oh my that looks so good or rather it sounds so good.
That sauce goes deep!
Knowing the basics of making different sauces has transformed my cooking - thanks! ❤
Good food doesn't need sauce. lol
Lush ! That beef stock looks amazing …. Please make a video of baking it ❤
This sauce is great with a tenderloin, a bottle of champagne and a trick
How could it not be great. It includes all the important food groups 😋
This series got you a few subs. I showed my friends. Lol.
"And lastly... And finally... And last but not least" 😂😂

Give this to a Victorian child and their heart would burst.

Kept thinking my air fryer was going off 😂
Thank you, Robert!
this looks amazing! perfect for dipping bread in
Looks banging
That stock😮
As a french i approve the rRrRoberrr(t) and the sauce 🤤
Bah c'est pas la bonne recette pourtant. J'vois pas l'intérêt de mettre "as a french" si c'est pour valider des trucs faux sur notre gastronomie.

7 to 8 pints of stout.
Marco Pierre has this version in a Knorr cube.

Is that a sauce or a bacon stew?
Not gonna lie I probably could eat this by itself
since when do you add vinegar to stew
