Turn soundbar off Reset 5 seconds(until blue light flash) Hold and press mute on remote Turn on soundbar/ magic it syncs(solid blue light) Connect ☺️ Thank you again!!!!!! Must have remote. I bought a replacement on Amazon $9 bucks

The trick was turning the soundbar OFF first before holding mute.
